Where do I start?
In April of 2020 I was furloughed from a tech company I had been with for 7 years due to the COVID pandemic. It was during this time my fiance and I decided we no longer want to rely on working for another company and instead open our dream coffee shop. While most businesses were shutting down or even worse, closing their doors forever, we took this time to pour everything into the coffee shop.

After obtaining the perfect space I needed help with bringing my design to life and that's where Sally came in, with Crave Design. The space we took over was an old hair salon, not up to restaurant code. This means we had a lot of renovating to do, so much so, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go this route if you're planning on opening a food facility in San Diego county, although with the help of Sally and a good contractor you're sure to be in good hands.

Sally was there every step of the way for me. She met me numerous times providing samples of what I could use to build the bar with, finish the countertops with, and different textiles that we could use to give the bar more detail. She somehow always fit me into her schedule whether it was a quick call or to stop by the shop. Since we were doing a complete renovation we had to go back and forth with the county on our plans and Sally was so incredibly helpful and always on top of it including the turn around time.
