Overall a disaster. I wont go into detail but go elsewhere please. The cook well let's say was loud and made a scene while apologizing, was he (taking shots)? and the food tasted old, flavorless, and disgusting. We had been meaning to try Crabby's for a while as it's not too far from our new home... so yesterday we gave its outside dining a go. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly.. informative.. attentive but not overbearing. As for the food.. absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the sauce I choose complimented completely. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his Shrimp Marinara.. which he said was full of flavor. I came to this place for 2 reasons, it was on my way home and for the 4 stars. But after tasking the meal it was definitely what I was expectingWe ordered: boiled shrimp, cajun shrimp and Calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was dripping greasy, lack of flavor , the sauces I would consider them low quality.Cajun shrimp was also a disappointing, the flavor of cajun was way so far, just because it's red and looks the real deal, but it's not.The boiled shrimp, wow!! These were old shrimp, precooked shrimp kept in a cooled place and then warmed up in hot water. No flavor or quality in all ingredients. The owners are wonderful! During this pandemic things have been hard and they've made a great outdoor dinning experience. Our family was on a roadtrip heading through LA and stopped by Zankou Chicken next door to try that out for the first time. We are in COVID-19 times, so most restaurants aren't allowing guests to sit and eat in right now.We grabbed our meals to go from Zankou and lowered the tailgate to eat in the parking lot before hitting the road again. That's when the owner of Crabby's came out and invited us inside to eat at a table. We politely declined, but he insisted and had no issue with the fact it was another place's food. We took him up on the offer and ate inside. The owner was so kind and conversational - something incredibly refreshing in the midst of quarantine times. Since we were there, we decided we might as well order margaritas - which were delicious. He then later brought an extra shot of tequila out just to cheers with the group. I couldn't wait to pay this guy and give him some business. When we asked to check out, he threw the card back on the table - wouldn't let us pay no matter how many times I insisted. Not sure what we did to deserve such kindness for the day, but we are certainly glad we were in this parking lot. Go support local businesses like this! More...

Tasty food and friendly staff! We ordered the Lupe Platter which is a lot of different kinds of shrimp, rice, beans, soup and fish. The shrimp was really tasty. I ordered a Mexican hot chocolate which was made fresh and delicious. The staff was really sweet and the chef comes out to greet his customers. I have enjoyed every meal we've had here. Not cheap but you get quality food. The fact that it's a family owned business is always a plus in my book.
