I had the ribs here. They fell right off the bone. Nice menu selection. A little pricey but you're right on the water so you pay extra for the view. I didn't get dessert but I did see them and they were huge. More...

Took another couple to Cowfish on Thursday for their $30 Prix Fixe Dinner. Was cold out and views of the Bay were beautiful. We went up the long winding ramp to the venue. Very quaint inside, not pretentious at all but warm and comfortable. We settled in to a nice corner table with views of the water and boats in their slips. We noted that the regular prices were on the high side but this dinner was worth trying as the food was delish. I had the Pan Fried Salmon and Bon had the sesame crusted Tuna...both fresh and outstanding. The Tuna was two slabs of beautiful sushi grade tuna with a slight sear on the outside and basically raw on the inside...perfect! Our server Melissa was warm and personable making the dinner even better...For desserts we had a couple of chocolate sundays and a couple of slices of Banana Creme Pie....outstanding!Dinner was so enjoyablee we cant wait to return!!! By far one of my favorite spots out in the Hamptons! Great year-round option (they don't close in winter like some other places). Ambiance is fun and much more laid back than pretty much every other place out here. Mahi Mahi sandwich is always a winning choice! Kale salad is another delicious option - you can add shrimp, or chicken. Guac and chips, Spinach and artichoke dip also very GOOD (appetizers). Dined here many times, sometimes just as a couple, other times with family, visitors, and large group - staff is always friendly and professional. Consistent good quality. In the summer expect a VERY long wait - waterfront dining is worth it though and hard to come by in this area. Beautiful spot year-round! Admittedly, food here is on the heavier side overall, but they certainly have healthier + lighter options. More...

What a really great place. We had the opportunity to have lunch here while visiting from Boston. Delicious food, generous portions, attentive wait staff all deserve kudos. The blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich was better than any I've had living in Boston for 20+ years. We look forward to returning during the summer to sip drinks and watch the boats come and go! Keep up the good work! Ian Kempf & Meg White More...

Cowfish Restaurant was a delightful setting for a girls reunion lunch in the Hamptons. We were delighted with the beautiful waterfront views. Food was solid & with good portions- I had a blackened fish burger that was flavored well. Service was excellent- my group ended loved the sauce on our burgers and the staff kindly packed some extra for us in our to go boxes. Don't forget to check in on yelp for a discount! More...

When I think of summers on Long Island, Cowfish is idyllic. It's exactly what a glimpse of a perfect Long Island summer is to me. Close your eyes and go there with me: We're sitting in Adirondack chairs on the lush, verdant lawn overlooking the water while sipping a glass of cool, crisp white wine; a gentle warm salt breeze blowing on a late lazy afternoon in AugustNot only is the setting picturesque, but the food is great too. Went here a few times for weekday happy hour and some yummies to nosh on. The sushi: wonderful. The Cesar salad: my mouth just started watering. The oysters: sweet & salty. There weren't any seats left outside so we sat right at the open-air bar looking out over the water. The bartenders were attentive and super friendly, I loved the small talk and what seemed like sincere interest in our light conversation. We originally thought we were going to miss out by not sitting outside, but to be honest it was even better inside. Can't wait to go back this summer for happier hours and also try dinner! More...

It's Long Island Restaurant Week...ENJOY ITI enjoyed everything about Cowfish. I ordered the Risotto Lollipops (mushrooms with goat cheese)for my appetizer. Kale salad (kale, red pepper, grapes, lemon vinaigrette, sunflower seeds, red quinoa minus the manchego cheese)...it's extra for the salad folks.Danish baby back ribs (BBQ ribs, slaw and fries made fresh) for my entree and Flourless Chocolate cake ( Belgium hot fudge, mixed berry sauce and whipped cream) for dessert. The servers were all polite with a smile as I walked in and with a smile as I walked out. Beautiful view off the water. I'm glad I came. Looking forward to going back when it's warmer out...would love to sit under the old and beautiful lite tree. Enjoy More...

Highly recommend Cowfish; my husband and I had a great lunch from start to finish. The service was friendly, and attentive. It was crowded and people were complaining about the wait, and at NO time did ANY of the staff have anything but a smile on their face and a kind word. They did their best to keep patrons happy and get them seated as quickly as possible. We were a small party of two and willing to sit wherever they could seat us so our wait was relatively brief. We started with the deviled eggs with brown sugared bacon, and skillet cornbread with honey butter. The eggs were delicious, I'm a big fan of sprinkling bacon bits on deviled eggs and the hint of brown sugar gave a great hint of sweetness with the savoriness of the deviled egg giving a delicious balanced full flavored experience. The cornbread was the perfect, sweet, accompaniment to the savory eggs. You could tell this was made from scratch, it was fresh and delicious with corn kernels. The generous dollop of honey butter was the perfect spread that complimented the sweetness of the corn beautifully. For our entrees I got the jumbo diver scallops, pan-seared, with maple risotto, brown sage butter, beets, and a spiced nut medley. The scallops were cooked perfectly with a beautiful caramelized sear. Complimenting the scallops was the maple risotto and beets. This was a beautifully executed, well rounded dish. My husband got the brunch burger special which was an 8oz CAB patty with bacon, cheddar cheese, avocado mash, chopped Bermuda onion, lettuce, and sunny-side egg on a brioche bun. Simple, and to the point, the burger was perfectly medium rare, juicy and flavorful, the toppings were fresh, and delicious. What more could you ask from a burger?! He ate half and had to tap out before finishing the other half. This thing was colossal. Sadly, there was no room for dessert but based on our experience, I can't imagine they're not equally delicious. More...
