The food was amazinnnnggg! We hired David for our wedding. He and his wife were so great to work with. They are so flexible and truly take pride in what they do. Let’s not even talk about the food. It was so hard to choose what entrees and sides we wanted because all the options were great.
The food was delicious. Everybody kept talking about how good the food was. We chose the ribs, pulled pork, beans, her-roasted potatoes, and Caesar salad.
The prices are so reasonable as well. Out of everyone that we contacted, David was the best to work with. Our wedding was in such a remote location that not many catering companies were willing to come out for a party of 20. However, David and his wife are extremely down to earth, welcoming and are truly the definition of an amazing family business.

I'd like to start off by saying I could feel the warmth in David's voice the first time I spoke with him on the phone. This is the first time I've ever purchased something like this online without meeting in person or seeing the food firsthand. I must say I trusted my gut instinct and was right. Im grateful for all the reviews and pictures because these were also a big reason I chose David and his Cowabunga crew to cater my wedding.
We chose the chicken & pulled pork for the meat along with his baked beans, macaroni & cheese, salad and rolls. Everything was delicious! Its obvious he pours his heart into the job he does! Sitting here with a million things to do after our event but wanted to take a few minutes out because I felt this review was more important. Oh my goodness! The food was absolutely delicious! My husband, mother-in-law and I only went to one tasting (total) and it was so good that we booked then and there. In the months leading up to the wedding, I cannot tell you how excited I was to be able to have the BBQ again!! Cowabunga BBQ is fantastic!! A wonderful family operated and owned catering service. We worked with them at the latest wedding we coordinated. They were so sweet and easy to work with. They arrived perfectly early and the food was ready and set up right on schedule. It’s a great feeling when you can rely on a vendor being on time. Their food was absolutely delicious!! You know the food was amazing when there’s no leftovers. ????At least half of the wedding guests were going back for seconds and even thirds. We absolutely loved how they are truly a family business, they are a husband and wife team with their teenage daughters helping as well. ❤️ They all are so professional and helpful.....their daughters were even helping us clean up tables and linens at one point. This place is no joke! I've done BBQ in North Carolina, Kansas, Mephis, Austin & Lockhart (Kruez Market) and have been trying to find real BBQ in East London and these guys absolutely KILL it! Amazing brisket, delicious burnt ends, proper slices of white bread, delicious homemade BBQ sauces - absolutely everything is on point, if you are in the area (The Tiger in Homerton) - highly recommended! Cowabunga catered our wedding of 250 people this past weekend and did an absolute incredible job. We could not be more happy with the way the food and service turned out. Cowabunga catered our wedding that we had on Saturday. 5 days later, people are still RAVING about how AWESOME the food was! ! I have had people text me to ask if they have a restaurant somewhere and someone even told me yesterday that they wish they had stuffed some food in their purse to eat later when they got home! We recently hired Cowabunga for a special party. It is awesome when the guests rave about the food! We knew it would be good but we had no idea that our friends would go on and on about their favorite dishes. Cowabunga showed up on schedule with everything necessary and put out a spread that was impressive to look at too! This allowed us to relax about the food and concentrate on our guests.
