The experienced residential architect must be on board for a proper design, safety, and local authorities/ building board approvals must be obtained.
Then the Construction management or General Contracting firm has to be retained to perform the actual construction.
Neighbors must be notified about the upcoming renovation and planned construction schedule, common areas protected by the builders.
