Q&As

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate with a heart for helping others. After a career in communications, time at home with my kids, and nearly a decade of military service, I went back to school to pursue my passion for empowering people to love themselves and the people in their lives well. Therapy is as much a ministry as a profession for me. I naturally care for others and am passionate about helping people find peace in their lives.

Having a work/life balance is important to me. I preach the importance of self-care and setting healthy boundaries, and so have to walk the talk. Having my own therapy practice gives me the flexibility to serve my clients well and also have time for family and life outside of work. I also love being able to create a space for healing the reflects my unique gifts and style.

One of the most important predictors of success in therapy is your relationship with the therapist. I am good at relationships, and I am genuinely interested in empowering people to love themselves and others in their lives well. I bring a unique combination of lived experience (wife, mother, veteran, professional), current education and training, and a passion for the job. I welcome the opportunity to learn more about you and how I can help you find more happiness and peace in your life.
