I've used Company Car & Limousine many times, primarily for transportation to and from the airport. On one particular occasion at the beginning of our vacation my husband left our carry on bag at home. Thankfully, he realized this while we were checking our bags. I quickly called Stephen, our driver. I gave him our garage code and he went over to our house, grabbed the carry on, and drove it back to the airport for us. My husband met us on the other side of security just a bit after we got through. Absolutely awful experience using this company. Reserved a car for a post midnight landing at Hopkins airport. Reached out before the flight because I never heard from the driver. I was told the chauffeur would reach out right when I land. I never got a text or call.... I called dispatch and only got an automated message and when I put in my confirmation code the automatic response was something along the lines of "driver does not have a phone on." I then could not find a taxi and it took 20 minutes to find a Uber and it was under 2x surge. I emailed the company and got a response that someone called and changed the reservation. Are you KIDDING me? Beyond ridiculous. I am still absolutely livid about this experience with this company. Will NEVER use this company. My brother-in-law had serious heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and needed to get back home to Maryland in a comfortable manner about a week post surgery. I googled car services and was so fortunate to get Company Car and Limousine's contact info. They were fantastic. They were very responsive to our needs and patient (no matter how many times I called). The day arrived for his transport and they arrived on time, in a large and comfortable SUV. I recently used this company by random choice. I'm so glad I did. The service was impeccable. The chauffeur went out of his way to make sure the ride went well and asked if we needed anything from a convenience store before being dropped off at our hotel. We love that before we ever landed, we were provided the chauffeur's phone number. Although we didn't need it, it feels good to have it in case there are problems at the airport. I live in New York and travel every week for business. Because of safety concerns I use chauffeured cars everywhere but have yet to find a company that can live up to the high standards that Company Car and Limousine has set. The chauffeurs are VERY well trained, know a lot about their city and what is going on in town when asked and know when to keep it to themselves as well. What inspired you to start your own business?
While working through law school in the early 90s driving cab our company owner got the opportunity to hear from our passengers that they felt our area had a lack of luxury transportation options. So finding he loved working with customers in the transportation industry he decided to fill the need for luxury transportation in Cleveland by starting his own company. 28 years later we have some of the same customers today that started with us from day one.
