Definitely one of the worst companies here in my area. Technically, I have yet to see a decent home care business in this area to begin with. The majority of workers that they have hired are disrespectful, lying, lazy, miserable people. It feels like they pick up anyone off of the street and give them a job. I wish it were different but these types of businesses seem to only care about making money and not about their clientele whom need to be cared for and treated with human decency. 10/10 would NOT recommend. I don't even know where to begin. Our experience with this agency has been nothing less than horrific. My husband is a vet and just recently came back home from assisted living. The VA contracted with ComForCare's Portage location. The lady that was sent out was so bad that I had to ask her to leave after just 20 mins. She was very rude to him, complained and yelled about the agency sending her out here and was unable to help him with even the simplest of tasks, such as putting on socks and showering. She could not or would not grasp the concept that he is unable to walk at all and kept asking about a walker. She didn't want to assist with his shower because she was not prepared and had no gloves or even a care plan with her. When I called the office manager, she was very nice and apologetic, but told me that they have no staff, that people quit after one day there and that I should just try to find a friend or family member who can come and help and that they would just pay them. She also said they would find someone else to send out, but they never sent anyone else out. They never even called us back. That was over two weeks ago. We would never use them again and recommend that you don't either. More...

Absolutely do not let your elderly parents or disabled relative be in care of this agency. They don't know how to do simple tasks as giving antibiotic through IV, or change a patient, in case they have an accident, nor they have anyone trained to provide outpatient physical therapy, like a simple blood flow massage to extremities. ..and they advertise as they provide CNA care. No, workers just come to play games, sit on the couch and eat food. They also don't do HAIR drug test as they should. I loved this job but it wasn't easy. In fact I left due to various personal reasons but would go back if it hadn't been so hard. I truly applaud caregivers and all that they do. This company is fantastic especially for people that have an open availability otherwise it's less rewarding. Having an open mind is vital and there isn't a lot of preparation however there is plenty of knowledge training. They give you a lot of responsibility but it's always okay to ask for help. Sometimes the pressure of caring for another person can be stressful because it can be life threatening for the client if you mess up but there hasn't been a more educational job for me and I will probably never find a more valuable work experience anywhere else. Qualified caregivers provide respectful assistance with bathing, dressing, hair styling, basic oral care, toileting and incontinence care, and other personal hygiene needs.

Whether it’s for a few hours a week or daily, we can provide outstanding care and peace of mind when family caregivers need temporary relief from caregiving duties.

Tasty and nutritious meals can be made fresh right in the client’s own kitchen. If a client has a special diet or just needs help eating healthier, our caregivers can work with them to plan, shop and cook meals.

Having a caregiver available to help with tasks around the house can give clients and their loved ones more time to spend together making memories. Our caregivers are happy to assist with light housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, dusting, vacuuming and folding laundry.

Reliable transportation helps to maximize independence and offers flexibility in a client’s day. Caregivers can help clients run errands, attend doctor appointments and enjoy social activities outside the home.
