We order from Classic Cakes for Anniversary and birthdays. I bet all their flavors are great, we can't get past ordering the almond pound cake. It is our go to flavor. When it isn't available we have tried other flavors, all were good but the almond pound cake is still our favorite. The icing is to die for and I wish I could duplicate it. What a wonderful company - more than just fantastic cakes! We had placed an order for a cake for my baby shower but a week before my shower I went into premature labor and had my baby early. Classic cakes not only has been very amenable to rescheduling our cake for a delayed shower but they also sent me complimentary cupcakes when I got discharged from the hospital and my baby boy had to stay behind in the NICU! Although delicious cupcakes don’t completely take the stress of having a premie in the hospital it sure doesn’t hurt! I came to Classic Cakes close to the time of my event. I was worried that I was not able to give them enough time to design and create the cake by the deadline. Not only did they go above and beyond with the cake they also contact Lucas Oil Stadium, and worked out all of the logistics for me in regards to delivering and storing the cake until it was time for the reveal. The staff was incredibly friendly, and did a lot of research to make sure they captured every detail in the design. This is bakery is the best! For over 10 years my sister would get all her cakes from Classic Cakes. They would make these adorable birthday cakes for all my nieces and nephews. My sister has since passed away, and when her son, my nephew got married there was no other bakery to go to surprise him with a groom's cake. They went above and beyond our wildest expectations! I came here to get a gender reveal cake. It was for my brother and his girlfriends new addition to the family and I was the only one who knew the gender so I wanted it to be special. A few months back I called Classic Cakes to order a cake for my son's birthday. With only a couple days' notice, I simply asked, "Can you put an octopus on it? " Otherwise, I left the design completely up to them. This cake was an absolute masterpiece! I never in my wildest dreams expected so much artistry on a cake. We almost hated to eat it. My wife and I fell in love with Classic Cakes in 2014 when we attended a wedding expo. Admittedly, we tried every cake sample they had available. We kept on coming back to the flavor of the Almond Pound Cake with the chocolate ganache and buttercream frosting.It was a huge hit at our wedding and people are still talking about it. After an exhaustive taste-test, we decided to go with the raspberry cake for a family birthday party that evening. I was a little hesitant because most bakeries only offer made-to-order cakes and need 48 hour notice, but Classic Cakes had a wide selection of cakes and cupcakes ready to go. I wish we would have taken a picture of the cake before our inner gourmands devoured the heavenly treat, but atlas, you will have to try it for yourself! Classic Cakes produced an amazing wedding cake for us; it looked even better than we imagined, tasted incredible, and received lots of positive comments from our guests! The fondant flags were so detailed and lifelike that people viewing the photos have commented on them being 'real' flags. My only regret? I never got a chance to taste the chocolate raspberry tier!
