Christine photographed my wedding in 2006 and we have used her multiple times since for family photographs and also newborn / children portraits. I cannot emphasize how truly accomplished, professional, thoughtful, and  wonderful Christine is as a photographer. She has become a good friend over the years and I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Christine shot our wedding last week. She's an absolute joy to work with, managed to get all our posed shots done somehow in under an hour, and is able to wrangle an unruly bunch of wedding guests into great photo ops without being busy or obtrusive at all. Our guests commented on how pleasant and professional she was and she and her assistant were just top notch! We cannot wait to get the photos back! I'd recommend her to anyone! More...

We recently received our photos from our outdoor wedding in Santa Ynez earlier this year. We are so happy with the photos. Â The colors are vibrant and the lighting is perfect.Christine and her assistant, Dimitry, did a wonderful job. I knew Christine from a few years ago when she photographed my friend's wedding (I was a bridesmaid in that wedding). Â I was impressed by her professionalism and photography skills when I met her then. Â I was excited that she was willing to come to photograph our wedding (she does charge a small travel fee).Christine was professional from the first meeting with us. Â She took thorough notes. Â She also was helpful in setting-up our timeline. Â We opted for taking photos prior to the wedding to minimize timing stress and are very glad that we did so. Â She was great at directing the large wedding party on where to stand, etc. during the wedding party photos. Â She was assertive and professional but never bossy.Christine has also been easy to work with after our wedding as she has consistently responded quickly to any questions that we've had.Of all the vendors (many), Christine was our favorite! Christine is awesome!! She is extremely easy to work with and such a professional. Her knowledge of photography is constantly on display while working with her, and even more apparent in the finished product. She's constantly thinking on her feet and looking for the best shot, and is always willing to work with you to make sure you get the shot you want. I highly recommend Christine...you wont regret it!! Christine Marie photography has an eye like no one else. I have used her several times for family photos and all I get are compliments from my friends on how great we look. I would love to take the credit but Christine knows how to get the best shot from myself and my kids. She is amazingly professional and the quality of the shots are priceless. I want to preface this review by stating that I have been hiring professional  photographers for the past 20 years for family events (wedding, bar mitzvah, briss, parties) and no one comes close to the service and quality of product offered by Christine.  Christine's photos are amazing and working with her was easy.  She does not mind taking the time to go over every photo, every option for covers, layouts, etc.... until the client is 100% happy with the product.  She is very patient but also completely professional.  Her photos speak for themselves...they are all beautiful.  And Christine is not a hard sell when it comes to buying enlargements and "upgrades" to the original contract, (which I experienced twice before with other photographers.) I will continue to use Christine for all future family/celebratory events. More...

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Christine Marie. Â We met with one other photographer before making our decision. Â Let me say, the moment I met Christine and saw her work, I was sold! Â She is the consummate professional and she knows her craft very well. Â I might venture out to call her a genius when it comes to working in natural light. Â I have dark skin and my husband is light-skinned so one of my major concerns with a wedding photographer was if she'd be able to work with such contrast. Â Christine Marie nailed it!She is very professional. Â I received everything from proofs to final products as promised. Â There were no surprises or unexpected costs. Â She is very patient and makes sure she gets the shot every time. Â Having wedding photos taken can be a very tedious process especially if you have a large wedding party. Â It can be draining for the bride and groom. Â Christine's great personality made it super fun for all of us and it didn't feel like such a chore. Â We also did an engagement photo session with her and those pictures are drop dead gorgeous! Â We used the engagement photo album as our actual wedding guest book. Â Our guests signed in the white spaces of the album. Â Nearly everyone complimented us on how awesome, cool and sexy the engagement photos were!I really don't have a single negative thing to say.
