Christian Counseling Ministries is devoted to serving born again Christians (and those seeking to receive Jesus Christ as their savior ) in their journeys toward wholeness in Christ. Primary emphasis is directed to how God heals our continuing broken reactions to woundedness derived in family during childhood and/or teen-year development. Resulting dysfunctional adult behavioral patterns are often replayed in the relationships of marriage life, wherein each spouse's inner woundedness triggers corresponding woundedness of the other. Healing of the individual begins in private counseling sessions focused on forgiveness of the parent(s) involved as an experience we have with God (rather than a work to be self-accomplished). recognition of the counselee's intentional reaction to the harmful messaging to make the message part of the counselee's identity. Healing opens up as we confess with God our broken "Oathed Identity" and receive in exchange who we are that He created us to be.

Richard Franklin and Jane have been married 50 years with two children and seven grand children. Richard has a Masters in Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Columbia International University. By choice he has practiced independently from supervision under the authority of the state of South Carolina.
