Gia is amazing - when she is directing a photo shoot, she provides perfect instructions and sets up nice shots. Most importantly to me, she is amazing at being a fly on the wall - she captured hundreds of excellent candid shots (one below included) without anyone really noticing she was there. Gia photographed my wedding downtown Chicago and it went wonderfully. She took into account every consideration and had so many great ideas of her own for photos to take. After the ceremony she was efficient and organized in getting the groups through the different photos. Where do I even start! Gia photographed our engagement photos, which I was a little nervous about because it would be our first, official photo shoot. She was very prompt with her communication, whenever I reached out to her, and her prices are very fair. She made us feel at total ease, and she helped us with our poses. Absolutely loved our engagement photos! We were able to go to several locations within two hours and captured some great shoots! She helped us a lot with our poses and my long hair blowing in the wind. Gia's prices were the best in town and the quality of the photos are great. Gia is very responsive and reliable. Gia met up with us while we were out in Chicago for a vacation She took professional pictures for us at the Planetarium, Marianna, City View, Soldier Field area and the surrounding park. She by far is the best. Her prices are fair, she has a great eye for photography, and everyone of our pictures came out beautiful and I hate any picture normally I am in. She lets you do what you want in the pictures, but then also points out what else would make a great shot. She is willing to make changes and update pictures for you.

Gia - the best in town. With no doubt acquire her services. The rate is better and the quality is the best. She gave us a lot of inputs on posing. Gia's personality, professionalism, and humor made our wedding day a BREEZE! She was able to capture so many pictures from the wedding day, we didn't even realize how much she had captured until we received them all a month later. Her attention to detail and patience with our large (and rambunctious) wedding party left us with over 3,000 pictures that we have STRUGGLED to choose the best pictures (which is a good problem to have)! I hired Gia for an engagement photo session and she was fantastic. I had a family emergency and had to cancel our appointment two days before we were supposed to meet, and Gia was so nice and understanding. She was able to reschedule our appointment for the following week, and my fiancé and I had a blast during our session. Gia took over 200 photos and they turned out beautiful! (They're so great that we are having a really hard time deciding which ones we want to use for our Save the Dates!) Gia was an awesome pleasure to work with. Not only was she affordable but she cared about how she made my fiance and I look  Sometimes taking photos can be awkward, what with the posing and people walking by an all, but she made the experience fun and very relaxing. Gia was easy to talk to and she understands the vision you have in mind if you lay it out for her. And even if you don't have an exact idea of what you want she will make sure to make you and your loved one look spectacular. What I really loved about Gia was the fact that she takes many different angles of pictures and whatever pictures she takes she gives you ALL of them. Thats right, every single shot, of course after she edits them. She even redid a set of photos for us for no additional price because the time of day we chose wasn't ideal for the type of shots we wanted, due to so much traffic. Overall she was a really nice person and a skilled photographer. Gia is absolutely amazing! She is so reliable, full of energy and is hilarious - this is definitely someone you want with you on your wedding day. She is very honest too and will give suggestions on what is best. Her prices are phenomenal- and the quality is amazing. We checked out only one other photographer before her and it was a larger company - they were so "salesy" and overwhelming with the amount of "freebies" they were giving away. Gia wasn't like this at all - we only met once at the beginning and then again during our engagement photos and then the rest to prepare for the wedding day was over the phone or via email. Gia was our photographer for our January 9th wedding in Chicago. She was absolutely FANTASTIC! I carefully searched through photographers and met with a few, and I am so, so happy I went with Gia. It was in the 30s and snowing and Gia was such a trooper even though we were all freezing! We went to several locations and all the pictures turned out AMAZING! I could not be happier. Gia is AMAZING!!!! Stop looking, book her right now. She responded quickly to my emails and we scheduled an engagement photo shoot for the next week. I was extremely nervous about being the center of attention and wasn't sure how to act in front of the camera but my fears were for nothing because she is SO easy to work with. She was wonderful, kind and professional as she directed us from one pose to the other. She clearly has lots of experience because she knew exactly how to position us in a way that was romantic and not too cheesy. Gia photo!!! One word, BOOK THIS LADY!!! She was totally nice and down to earth, and she knew exactly what she was doing! We came from out of town, and the first photo shoot was on a cloudy day ! We chose our two locations, and she drove us there to have our photos done.   The garden photos turned out GORGEOUS!!!, however the beach was not so hot, as the clouds covered Chicago's skyline. Needless to say she was fine with us redoing our second location shots, free of charge. The second photo shoot  was the perfect day and the photo were absolutely STUNNING!!! Gia shot our wedding in October and we were absolutely blown away. We met Gia back in January and liked her from the beginning. We were having a hard time choosing a photographer, and felt like most were too salesy. Gia was very professional and didn't push us to upgrade or sign anything we weren't interested in. We signed the contract the next day and she took our engagement photos in June. She got them back to us within a week and we loved how they turned out. For the wedding itself, she arrived early and stayed late. She was very patient dealing with the family and, as a bride, I was very grateful she was in control. It was one less thing I needed to worry about. We got a TON of beautiful photos back within 3 weeks and she put together a really great slideshow as well. Can't wait to see how the album turns out! We hired Gia to do our engagement photos and wedding photos. She is excellent to work with, affordable, and a very fun photographer. Our engagement photos came out excellent, she gave us all the copyrights, and she returned the photos to us very quickly. She has the amazing ability to make you smile and look natural even after she took several hundred photos and you are a bit sick of the camera.  I can't wait to see the wedding photos-I'm sure they will come up excellent.  She has some excellent wedding books that she showed us and I can't wait to create a few of those for us and as gifts. Gia is wonderful!  Not only is she incredibly easy to get along with, which is an essential attribute you should seek in a photographer, but her photography is phenomenal.  She has an exceptional eye for detail and if you are looking for a blend of creative as well as traditional, Gia is for you.  Additionally, it was important for us to have a photographer that had previous experience with ethnic weddings and she does.  It was important for us to not have to explain things regarding the ceremony and what kind of pictures to take and all that jazz.  With Gia, we didn't have to - she knew what she was doing and we're very happy with the work.On our quest to find a photographer, we kept seeing the same old shots and really boring photos - not with Gia.  Gia has a vision and executes.  She's not the kind of photographer that you would get with one of the those expensive-big-company-but-unpaid and unskilled-photographer-shops that are creeping up all over the city.  She's cutting edge in a great way and her work proves it. Gia is a fantastic!  She was my photographer for my daughter's baptismal.  She took over 400 photos, and needed no direction.  She was at the church even before we arrived, and just went about her business, snapping photos at every opportunity.  She was patient and calming when talking to my baby girl, who cried during most of the ceremony.  She even got a few smiles from her!  Afterwards, she had beautiful ideas of placement for the family for photos at the alter.She joined us at the banquet, and was social and took more beautiful shots of the baby, family and cake.A beautiful selection of photos were posted on her website very quickly, and were available for my family to view and download.  The photo CD came via mail soon afterwards, with some black and white images as well. Overall, Gia was very professional, friendly, and talented.  I was very pleased with her services.  I wish I had know about her for my wedding!  I will definitely recommend her to anyone in search of a photographer.
