Ulises! Thank you so much for delivering the perfect party menu for our 120 guest graduation/birthday party!! We are a big, food-loving, culture-sharing, party-going, Argentine family! ! And Che’s Urban Eats delivered and kept our guests delighted with taste after taste from the moment they arrived until it was time to say goodbye!! In planning our party, Ulises gave us so many great suggestions from menu selection, to timing and flow of three appetizer courses, a robust entrée to dessert! We appreciated the confirmation just days prior to our event and prompt arrival and set up the day of the party. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our guests and so helpful to us as hosts. And the food!! So delicious!! We started with a traditional Argentine favorite with a modern twist, matambre sandwiches! Yum! The empinadas came next and literally had the crowd begging for more (Thank you Ulises for bringing enough extra and allowing us to increase our planned count to satisfy the demand)! And by the time the third appetizer came out, Choripan (Argentine sausage and chimi-churi on a bagguett), we literally had guests running for to the serving tables!! Dinner was delicious and topped off with a delicious chocolate mouse and dulce de leche alfajore! Every dish had something to satisfy all the senses… Just seeing the offerings opened the appetite, greeting us with aromas that made our mouths water, pleasing textures in the hand and on the tongue, and each course tasting like bombs of delicious Argentine flavor-packed goodness!! Absolutely fantastic empanadas.  We had empanadas at the republic game, understanding there are fixed costs for vendors and regulations in place for pricing- you expect to pay a premium for anything at games.  First - the quality of ingredients is crystal clear with your first bite.  Second - the service was fantastic.  We had the beef and chicken, and am definitely driving 35 minutes from home to see them again at Saturday's farmers market. Sacramento needs a good empanada and I thank Che's urban eats for making that a reality. More...

I have to say the empanadas I ate here today were the best I ever had. The staff is also very friendly. As an example, they gave us one wrong type of empanada (hones mistake) and then proceeded to not only replace it, but to also offer us an extra one. Smart owner; great food. Recommended More...

Walked past Che's Urban Eats at the Midtown Farmer's Market and was immediately drawn in by the scent of freshly fried empanadas. Spying over a few people who had ordered some, they looked seriously good. I decided to try to keep control and actually walked past it, but I just couldn't resist on my second walk around so I opted to get just a little taste, ordering 1 empanada.I opted for the Chorizo, because I love chorizo. And this empanada doesn't skimp - it features a hearty helping of ground chorizo, onions, roasted bell peppers, and mozzarella cheese deep fried a golden brown and served with a delicious chimichurri sauce. Delicious is actually an understatement for this sauce. Without it, I'd actually say that the empanada didn't have enough flavor and was a little too oily. But the addition of the chimichurri (made of parsley, onions, oregano, and olive oil) added just the right flavor and bite to cut through the oiliness. 1 empanada will set you back $4, but you can always opt for 3 for $10. We come by the Midtown Farmers Market on saturdays just to get the empanadas and the chimichurri sauce it is super bomb. Wish they would have there burger or dog they show on their site?But the beef and vegetable empanada is the wayy to go be sure to get extra sauce! More...

My husband and I stopped at Out of Bounds Brewery in Rocklin to enjoy a cold beer just over a week ago.  As we sat chatting, someone started to set up a tent outside and because the brewery frequently has food trucks, we were very curious what kind of food was being served.   About 20-30 minutes later, a little menu board was set up and we saw that it was Cosa Nostra Burgers but we were a little uncertain exactly what was being served as it indicated - Chicken, Beef, Chorizo or Ham and Cheese options.  We got on Yelp and were very excited to find out that they served empanadas!  The downside was that we had already eaten and were not hungry at all.   As we left, we asked the nice gentlemen that owned the business when he would be back because we really wanted to try the empanadas.   He suggested that we take some home and if we like them, he can make deliveries since we live in the area.   We took a 3-pack of empanadas - two beef and one chicken home with us.  We reheated later them using the suggested instructions and they were DELICIOUS.  So delicious that we went back to Out of Bounds yesterday to try the chorizo empanadas and they did not disappoint!  The gentleman that runs the business is very, very nice and even came back in to make sure that the food was satisfactory!  They were so good, we bought a dozen to bring home and freeze so we could eat them whenever we want.  Yes, they can be a little greasy but they are deep fried - what do you expect!?   They are so incredibly yummy!  So glad we stumbled upon your catering service!!! Cosa Nostra had a food tent set up at a local farmers market.  The owner was an one man show selling empanadas.  Big fat handheld empanadas.  $3.99 for each or 3 got $9.99.I bought one of each of beef, chicken and veggie.  He sold out of the chorizo.  He fried them up on the spot to a golden crispness.  It didn't take long. The empanadas had hearty fillings.  The beef was ground beef and was flavorful, not dry at all. The chicken was shredded and moist. The veggie was filled with delicious spinach that was charred which gave it a nice flavor. Yum!  So if you see his pop up food stand, do your tastebuds a favor and checkout the menu offerings. WOW!!Where do I even begin? We had the wonderful pleasure of having Cosa Nostra Burgers cater one of our recent events. Every year we have a huge event with all our families at our school. There is usually about 100-200 people that attend. In the past, we have tried to cook and serve all the food ourselves. This year we decided to hire Cosa Nostra Burgers to help us out. WOW, did they do an awesome job. They showed up early to set up and get cooking. They served all our families with ease, and not to mention the food was AMAZING! We loved it because we didn't have to worry about the food at all and instead we were able to really enjoy ourselves and hang out with our families. All our families raved about the food and service, and we will definitely be using Cosa Nostra Burgers every year for this event. Between their service, hospitality, professionalism, and ease this was a truly wonderful experience and we would recommend them to everyone we know.
