Chelsea Rose Salon

Chelsea is a hair goddess!! She has transformed my hair into what I have always pictured it to look like! I was someone who never got my hair done in a salon before (I thought I was good with box dye in high school. . yikes!). I was so nervous the first time I got my hair done but Chelsea made me feel so calm and confident! That was over a year ago and I've been going to her ever since! She is amazing at what she does and always recommends the best products to keep your hair healthy. Not only has she colored my hair, but she also did my tape-in extensions which I'm obsessed with! I had an issue with them (my fault!) after my first couple weeks of having them and Chelsea was able to get me in fast and give me a quick fix! She also always has the best snacks and drinks  Talking to her while getting your hair done is like talking to an old friend! I 100 percent recommend Chelsea for all of your hair needs! Where do I begin? The salon is located inside the Phenix salon suites! Easy parking and easy to find. I've known Chelsea for a while and have always watched and admired the way she transformed hair. (i had a hair stylist and was committed) Until i got my hair fried off! See photos below. I called Chelsea in a panic and she immediately calmed me down and comforted me. Brought me in and 4 hours later fixed my hair. Lost a few inches but would have lost MORE if Chelsea wasn't the one doing my hair. I had been looking for a hairstylist for a while because I wanted a balayage, but there's not many people who can do it well. A really good balayage takes true artistic talent and I'm so glad that I found Chelsea! I found her Instagram page where she posts all of her work and every picture of her client's hair transformations were so so beautiful! I knew I could trust her with my hair and to really capture what I wanted my hair to look like. I also went to Chelsea for my tape in extensions and this was my first time getting extensions so I was nervous about the whole process. But Chelsea guided me through everything and what to expect and once she put them in, omg I couldn't believe I had such gorgeous & voluminous hair! I always had thin, flat hair and wanted extensions to add volume...well I definitely got that! I started with 2 packs of 16" but not long after I wanted longer hair so I got the 20" pack and THAT was life changing. I recommend Chelsea to all of my friends whenever they ask me who does my hair. I truly trust her opinion on what looks good/suits me and she always makes sure that I look AND feel my best! I had a very different experience with Chelsea...i originally wanted my hair cut to be about medium length since I've had hair down my back my whole life. ..and when i left, i left with a long bob which was shorter than i anticipated but she tried very hard 2 work with my hair (which isn't easy) and after the shock wore off i realized how good if a job she did. She was very professional and she didn't let me leave looking anything but good! While i am not used to short hair, this is the cutes short hairstyle I've had. Good job Chelsea! If u are considering her, please do, she is very talented and has a real eye for what she does...i think that is rare these days More...

So my hair wasn’t in the best shape, and I’m needy on top of it. Chelsea straight up SLAYED my hair, which is super difficult to work with. And then it rained. A thunderstorm in San Diego, which never really happens. I had no umbrella. But because of the Kevin Murphy product she put in it, along with her hard work, I didn’t have any issues whatsoever, and the compliments came pouring. So I just started seeing Chelsea no more than 6 months ago after finding her page on instagram. I had been going to the same stylist for many years but was looking for something new and I am so happy that I did! She is INCREDIBLE! I am a natural blonde and have been blonde most of my life, but after our first visit together we decided to have fun with my hair. First we did strawberry blonde, then we added some brunette into my roots to darken the look, and today we finally did a deep dark red fading to copper. For how complicated that sounds, and how indecisive I  can be, she really knew exactly what to do. She is also extremely talented with extensions. I have had them in the past using a different brand of hair, but her choice of hair and glue are the most natural feeling. I used to deal with goopy glue with grow outs, but the glue she uses is very minimal, clean, and lasts forever. I highly recommend her!! More...

Chelsea is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend her! I was a walk-in at a Salon and I had the pleasure of having Chelsea as my stylist and I was so happy with my results that I booked a follow up appointment with her before I left. First off I don't trust people with my hair and I especially don't trust people to color it since it's so dark. I am a blonde and so extremely picky when it comes to my blonde color. I hadn't had my hair done in over a year because of multiple disappointments with prior colorist over the last couple of years  with not being able to produce the results I had in mind. I happened to come across Chelsea and she has been my saving grace! She understood what ash blonde I was looking for how I didn't want that ugly pee yellow looking blonde that I had.
