My husband and I planned our wedding in Washington state from the East Coast. We saw good reviews for Chef Sunshine and decided to give them a try. We were originally nervous choosing any catering for our small wedding since we would not be able to taste-test the food before hand, but man did we get lucky! The food was absolutely amazing. They sent one person to set up and tare down everything the day of. She was super nice and professional and left the place cleaner than it was when she arrived. Team Sunshine is simply incredible! From first contact to the final bite, working with Chef Sunshine Catering was fun, flexible, very professional, and - most importantly - delicious! !Seriously, our guests/families have RAVED about the food! Chef Sunshine was very easy to work with, and even made a vegan entree for one of the grooms... and it was just as scrumptious as the rest of the dinner! We were recently married on the Olympic Peninsula and had searched for caterers on the Kitsap Peninsula. Immediately we were impressed by Chef Sunshine Catering's flexibility in scheduling us for a tasting, where we were treated to generous portions in a private room. Chef Sunshine carefully listened to our preferences and questions, resulting in us putting down our deposit. We were then invited to a FREE grand tasting event where we could try more of Chef Sunshine's menu offerings. After some miscommunication about their vegetarian options being available to taste there, Chef Patrick drove up to our venue site to meet us with some freshly made veg options for us to try. Talk about customer service! The whole team was professional and went out of their way to make sure our menu and service was exactly what we wanted. We appreciated their budget-friendly options for us DIY-wedding types, with their Food-Only Service being an excellent option. The food served on our wedding day was so delicious; our guests (even the picky ones) raved about the berry salad, asparagus, potatoes, and delicious King salmon!
