Charlie & Violet Photography

After looking into several options for newborn photography, we decided to go with Nicole at Charlie and Violet. The gallery on her website is what really sold us- all of her images are simply beautiful! We had an amazing experience working with Nicole from the beginning. To start off, our baby was a few weeks early, and she was more than accommodating with her schedule to photograph us in the recommended time frame. When we arrived at the studio, she was so inviting and made sure us parents were comfortable when she was photographing our newborn. When it came to what colors would be used for the shoot, I trusted Nicole to choose. She has an eye for what colors go well together as well as what would look good on our baby. She is beyond talented- every photo is a work of art! I am ecstatic with how our pictures turned out, and that I get to cherish them forever. After doing a lot of research, my husband and I knew that Nicole was the best choice for our newborn photos. Her talent for working with newborns and families, paired with her talent as a photographer, makes her the best at what she does. We could not have been more impressed with our daughter's photos, and our experience working with Nicole. As others have said, she is so kind and inviting, and makes families and children feel comfortable while in her studio. When sharing our photos with family and friends, a word we heard over and over again was "Stunning". Nicole is amazing photographer! She did a great job of bringing to life a vision that I had for my daughter's birthday photoshoot. She is great with children which is very important when you're dealing with a high energy one year old. She studio is big and lovely with a lot of outfits for little ones. Love love working with Nicole, working with her is so easy and comfortable, and most importantly, we were having fun while taking the pictures. We brought our pup in for the photo session, Nicole is very accommodating, making the entire photo session smooth and enjoyable experience for us. We brought our daughter in for newborn photos a few weeks ago. Just got the photos back and they turned out amazing! The whole experience was great. Nicole answered all my questions and gave clear instructions. Once we got their for the shoot, she made it a really great experience too. We got to actually relax while she did most of the photos, which was a special treat with a newborn.I couldn't recommend her highly enough. I first found Charlie and Violet photography from a google search back in 2016 when I was pregnant with my first child, I looked at multiple photographers’ galleries and liked Nicole’s newborn photography style best. Nicole did a maternity photo shoot and a newborn photo shoot and all the photos came back beautiful. Nicole at Charlie &Violet Photography was a joy with which to work! We were gifted a Newborn Mini Session and are very pleased with the results. Having the ability to print photos on our own, where and when we choose, as well as post online without logos or writing across them, is a great cost saving feature making it extra simple to share our photos with family and friends. Nicole at Charlie and Violet is amazing!! She delivers absolutely stunning photos and is so sweet to work with. She makes the session stress free and her studio is comfortable, with so many props and outfits for newborns. She is the baby whisperer. Just going to start and say our photographer Nicole was awesome. Our session lasted approximately 3hrs. My wife and I went for the premium package which includes family photos, sibling photos, and solo newborn photos. The session also included all props which was great. Nicole was very good with my family (even though my toddler was all over the place). When it was time for the newborn session, I was a bit worried. I had my maternity and newborn pictures taken by Nicole. She is professional and amazing! Her photos are of high quality. The first time I met Nicole was I n her studio . It is roomy and cozy. I'm enjoyed my maternity session and the photos are stunning. Three month after the maternity session, I took my baby to Nicole for her newborn session. By the time we arrived, she had everything set up for me. Her well-organized newborn wardrobe has everything. Without doubt, the photos are adorable! Our family had an amazing experience at Charlie & Violet photography! We selected the maternity and newborn package and loved the entire experience. I had my maternity photos completed at 32 weeks. I went to the studio not knowing what to expect...I just know hair/makeup and wardrobe was being provided. When I got there I was totally pampered by the makeup artist, she was able to do the look I wanted and she put on some fabulous falsies! My eyes were amazing! After that Nicole pulled some amazing outfits for me. She has a closet full of beautiful dresses that I'm sure anyone can find something they like! We returned about a week after our baby was born to do the newborn photos. Nicole went over our ideas and made magic happen! Our daughter didn't make a peep. Today, I went back for the gallery reveal... Nicole had put together a slide show of our photos. I am absolutely in love with all of our photos! And so sad that I won't see Nicole again...until the next session! Yes, I will absolutley go back to Nicole for future photos of my daughter/family and recommend anyone whose interested in getting fabulous photos. Nicole is not only a phenomenal photographer, she is the ultimate baby whisperer. My daughter had an uncontrollable bout of hiccups and we were worried that it would interfere with the shots but Nicole was able to capture so many beautiful images despite that challenge! She is so great at getting the babies into those adorable poses without any fussing what so ever, it's amazing. Her studio is awesome and she has endless props, outfits, bows and bonnets for the little ones. She even had a stunning dress for me! It was such a wonderful treat to feel beautiful right after giving birth, when none of my own clothes were fitting.
