I recommend Cheryl as a coach because she helped me reach my goal of competing in my first bikini body building contest. With her knowledge of nutrition I learned how to fuel my body the right way for the workouts that were provided. I had the privilege of working with Cheryl when I competed in a bodybuilding competition in 2019. She provided me the guidance in terms of nutrition and fitness to reach my goal. ...both of which were down to a perfected science that she created for me. Beyond this, she provided the emotional support that this process required. She was a text away at all times with the encouragement I needed on the hangry days!! And she was right there for both of the competitions I participated in, shouting loud and proud in the audience!! She was reasonably priced and so supportive. I met Cheryl through a yoga class I attended with my mom. From there, I proceeded to take a yoga class on my own with her as well as her Warrior Wellness yoga (geared specifically towards healing and mental health). I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about both. Over the course of the last year, she’s become way more than just an instructor because she cares SO much about her clients. I found Changing Lanes by chance. I joined the Warriors Yoga class and have learned so much. I never thought I would find Yoga beneficial but it can change your mind, body and spirit. Yoga at Changing Lanes is always balanced and challenging but never daunting or intimidating. The positive instruction and atmosphere comes from the instructor and the space and is reflected back through class participants. After a week's worth of work and workouts, yoga at Changing Lanes is not only a reset, but moves me forward in those endeavors. Cheryl has helped me lose weight, feel more energized and train to run my first 5k. She has also been helping me maintain for 4 months now and I am coming up on my first New Years where my resolution isn't to lose weight! ! I talked my husband into trying a yoga class with me. He had never done yoga and didnt see it as a workout. I chose Cheryls class for his first time. He was hooked! We have been practicing at Cheryl’s studio for a year now. I also followed her kickstart nutritional program. Her inspiration, passion and knowledge are exceptional. It was easy to follow, flexible and maintainable without doing a fad diet. I dropped weight, slept better and had more energy! I also tried foods i had never tried before. I’m excited to try more! I can't say enough wonderful things about Cheryl! Her knowledge base, passion, down to earth personality, and kind heart were evident when she trained and shared nutrition information with our 15 year old daughter. I started my new lifestyle change with Cheryl 7 weeks ago. She helped me get my nutrition program together that best suited my needs due to thyroid issues. I also joined her strength training class and beginner yoga class. I am really enjoying yoga and will soon be starting my second session of yoga with Cheryl. The changes and exercise were a struggle in the beginning but with the encouragement of Cheryl and the confidence I was gaining each week it got better. If you are thinking of making a change, do it. Cheryl is the real deal when it comes to fitness and motivating you to get out of your comfort zone and be your best. I have been taking her Body Blast and Spin classes at the Y for well over a year. Both classes are high energy and full of variety. I thought I was "fit" prior to taking her classes... what an eye opener! She pushes you beyond what you think you can do, and I'm stronger for it! I have gone to Cheryl's Body Blast and Spin classes (La Crosse Y) since she started instructing 3 years ago. Cheryl knows everyone by name and is very personable. Before each class, I never had to question whether or not I was going to get a good workout. She knows how to work you #burpees. I'm quite saddened she is leaving as an instructor, but excited for her new endeavors. More...
