What’s your signature dish?
I have several. Smoked chicken salad, shrimp and grits and my BBQ are my most requested.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I like to get as much information as possible. I ask my clients what type(s) of cuisine they are interested in, if there are any food allergies or special diets. What type of event and what level of service they want is also important. If they have an estimated budget in mind, that's very helpful. All of these details help me to design the right menu options to suit their needs.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the experience of people enjoying my food and being satisfied with the outcome of their event.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My parents had a catering business when I was growing up. Their hard work and sense of fulfillment from this business inspired me to try it for myself.
