My family and I ate this last night for dinner for the first time and all I have to say is "Wow" absolutely amazing and delicious. I ordered something simple "Chicken stew with rice and beans and plantains" Even though they forgot my beans, totally okay because the flavors and everything was perfect.My husband ordered the "Ribs with rice and beans and plantains" his meal actually came with the beans and good thing because I got to try it.I can't wait for them to come back again and try other dishes.I took a photo but after we were done More...

I really love the regular food like the rice, beans and whatever protein but the honey mustard sauce is TERRIBLE. Maybe because I'm Dominican and I'm use to the standard mayo/ketchup combo but I really wish they gave customers a choice between the two sauces. I personally find that honey mustard is for specific tastes and I really did not appreciate it in my Chimi, it made the otherwise savory sandwich into an almost dessert like taste. If you can find three nicer people in the world who work together I'd be impressed. Super hard working and smiling and friendly the whole time. Also...the food is pretty dang good too.We tried several of the empanadas and they were through the roof tasty (make sure to keep them flat in the bag though or all the good stuff goes to one side). I was completely shocked by the peperoni and cheese empanada. Whoa!!!We also tried the Chimi burger which was a bit over handled/cooked but the sauce and fixings that came with it were both good. I may ask for it to be cooked just a little less than normal next time.Also...you should probably call ahead with your order so that you don't end up waiting too long at the gas station. The regulars seemed to all know this trick...and now you know too.Enjoy! More...

Yes...yes yes, this is the spot! Â Mr. Mangu Delight knows chiccharron.Two orders of unchidness, crispy, fatty goodness. Â One I'll freeze for later. ..NOT.
