I had my wedding at Pastures of Plenty a few weeks ago and it was even better than I could have imagined. Everyone has been raving to me about how amazing the food was, how great the service was and how beautiful and unique the setting was. I can't agree more. David helped coordinate everything and it all came together perfectly on the big day. Thank you to everyone there for making my dream wedding a reality and going along with all my crazy idea (like having a cake made of cheese!) More...

We loved having our daughter's wedding reception here in August, 2019!!  The setting is amazing with the many fresh flowers, farm style decor, mountain views, bonfire, lovely bridge over the stream, space for yard games, a cozy teepee and secluded yard surrounded by trees for dancing and celebrating! The wait staff and food were excellent and exceeded our expectations. I felt like I had my own personal server as he was always there when I needed something! We heard so many compliments about the venue from our guests and it seemed that everyone was having a great time. The word "magical" was used by a friend to describe it and that seemed to sum it up best. Thank-you Lyle, David and staff for a wonderful day and evening!! Lisa (and Joe) Kesting More...

An actual family-run farm just ten minutes from Boulder in the most stunning locale. I've always bought Pastures of Plenty organic flowers and produce at the Farmers Market, but this was my first year attending an onsite farm event (one of the Supper Clubs). The food was fantastic and the vibe was genuine and laid back--I got to have a drink with the man who raised the chicken I ate for dinner, who was so cool. The family did a great job of introducing the suppliers they work with, sharing the stories behind each dish, and making everyone feel welcome (and full). Towards the end of the night there was also a fire and acoustic tunes. I will definitely be back! More...

Incredible organic CSA farm share, it comes with organic flower bouquets that are the most beautiful imaginable, and they last longer than store bought or shipped. And my creamed spinach has been taken to a whole new level. The farm itself looks like out a dream, only 10 minutes from Boulder but an idyllic world away. The catering is also out of this world. There was not one bad review from anyone in attendance, and both my husband and myself would not have changed one thing about the day and overall experience. Although wedding planning and execution can typically tend to be a stressful and chaotic experience, Pastures of Plenty‘s warm and authentic approach absolutely mitigated anything even close to that. Pastures of Plenty made our wedding perfect! Everyone on the staff worked closely with us as we planned our special day, and the results exceeded our expectations. We toured the venue in the winter, but Lyle's excitement and passion made us certain that it would be gorgeous for our autumn nuptials. Our guests have said it was the best or one of the best weddings they've ever attended. The fact that the flowers and veggies were from the farm meant a great deal to us, and the food simply could not have been more delicious nor the service more warm. We were treated with kindness and professionalism throughout the planning, and frankly felt like part of the family on the day of our wedding. I was married at Pastures of Plenty and I believe it was the best wedding I could have imagined. They catered, and the food was amazing. We had a vegan wedding, so it was a little bit of a gamble to have non-vegan caterers, but the food was so good, nobody believed it was all vegan. The service was impeccable, they remembered to help with things that we completely forgot to even ask for. The setting was gorgeous, they had everything loaded up in our car by the time we were ready to leave, and our guests still tell us it was one of the best wedding they've ever been to. I have a friend who used Pastures for her wedding last year and had a very similar, amazing experience. I cannot recommend them enough. Everything was PERFECT! The food was, as you promised, amazing. Many many of my guests told me it was the best "wedding food" they had ever had. The appetizer buffet was beautifully designed and displayed. What a way for my guests to begin the celebration! The flank steak was cooked to perfection, the salmon and saffron risotto were both excellent choices to round out the entrees. I had friends digging around the salad for the heirloom tomatoes, and you were right about the green beans and red potatoes. No need to add lots of other ingredients when they are super fresh from the garden, served with a bit of fresh herbs! I came by the Farmer's Market a bit late on Saturday to give you all a big thank you hug but neither you or Sylvia were there so I'll look for you in the next couple of weeks. Wow is pretty much all I can say.  Wow Wow Wow.  PASTURES catered my wedding on the 4th of July.  Their food was incredible.  Our menu reflected our personal tastes and was exquisite.  Asparagus risotto, Ratatouille, Braised short ribs, and halibut.  And thats not to mention the perfect passed appetizers.  Seriously, amazing.  The next day my brother said to me "Hey,  I need those short ribs right now."  My husbands uncle raved about the Halibut all week long (And he is HARD to impress).  It "melted in his mouth."  His sister asked if you had a restaurant because she could't get enough.  Everyone mentioned how amazed they were that the food stayed hot (the wedding was in a field and the wind started to pick up).  I ate every single bite on my plate.  What bride eats at their wedding?!  Well I could not stop. They went above and beyond to make our day special from day one.  They met with our rental company to go over their order, they came to our house to talk menu, the were flexible with my specific asks.  Honestly, Im not sure anyone has been complimented this much on their wedding food.  Thank you Lyle and Kelly!!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could.  I had my wedding here recently.  We had many guests tell us how beautiful it was, how special it was, how nice and helpful the staff was, how amazing the food was.  They have built adorable men's and women's bathrooms (the outhouses are gone) and everyone was very comfortable. We were nervous about having a vegan wedding, and when we found out that Pastures wouldn't do a tasting, we were really nervous.  The food had to be impeccable, because most of our guests were not vegan or even interested in eating that way for an evening.  After a meeting with one of the chefs, Kate, we felt much better.  We told them that the most important thing was that everyone had plenty of good food to eat.  ALL of our friends and family who were very closed-minded about eating a meat and dairy-free meal were raving about the food and many of them have since made changes in their diets!  Most of all, aside from the beautiful setting and the amazing food and the awesome staff, Pastures made this so easy.  They took care of almost everything, while still allowing us to make the day exactly what we wanted it to be.  We had the choice to spend tons of money or keep things a little mellower, make things extravagant or rustic, to be very involved or to hand over the reins to them.  They were on top of everything, the whole way, from remembering the glass for us to step on (we realized we forgot as it was time to step on it, and when we looked up, there was Kelly, totally prepared).  She was also waiting with drinks and appetizers as we left the ceremony, and had our cars packed up with everything by the time we were ready to leave.  And so much more than that...  I  could go on and on...It was a beautiful, stress-free day that I will never forget! We selected Pastures of Plenty for our daughter's wedding, sight unseen, based on reviews, photos, and opinions of some of our vendors.  We were on the two coasts and could not get to Colorado to preview sites.  We heard, again and again, from our wedding guests:  "wow, this was the best wedding we've ever attended!"  While we'd love to take credit for that because of our own rigorous planning, much of the fun was infused by Pastures and Big Bang's staff and ideas.Perfect weather, beautiful setting, truly fabulous, first class food, professional staff,  great tent, leisurely buffet set-up, amazing bonfire, fun yard to set up games.  Teepee for kids.  NEW bathrooms worked very well (we had to order handicap-accessible porta potty separately and Pastures staff worked with that vendor).Pastures staff were professional, friendly, and firm about each step, which we all needed to keep us moving forward.  They worked well with our other vendors (photo, florist, All Events Rental, musicians).  Relatively flawless.  Lovely night.  Thanks, Pastures!  Thanks Lyle, Kelly, and Kate!
