I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day. Despite us living out of state, Casey worked with us from the very beginning to get to know us and exactly what we wanted.
Let me tell you, she knows the city of New Orleans like the back of her hand! I was amazed at all the hidden gems throughout the city that she took us for some incredible photos. She went above and beyond to help make our photos perfect – she even carried around my lipstick for touch-ups as needed! Even in the middle of Mardi Gras with tons of people all around, she was able to capture the romance and history of that amazing City. She even threw in some fun photos of us being goofy and enjoying the crowds.
Casey for sure has a passion for photography and will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable and because of this, her photos come out so beautiful. I highly recommend Casey for natural and unique images that will capture your special day in ways you’d never imagine.
We visit New Orleans annually will definitely be using Casey again for some anniversary photos next time. I can’t wait!

Wow! Seriously just wow! I really really don’t like having photos taken. I always feel so awkward behind the camera with a forced smile, and then frustrated and disappointed when I see them, but not this time! I needed headshots done for a work bio, so I reached out to Casey. She was able to fit me in and her prices are SUPER fair! Casey was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. She took her time and made sure to get shots that I looked good in and nothing about our time felt forced or rushed. Casey has the most incredible eye. She walked around checking backgrounds and searching for the right lighting and spaces. I feel like she captured ME. The photos feel relaxed, but still professional. I feel like I got much more than what I paid for. It’s worth mentioning that I asked Casey because she had done professional work photos, engagement photos and wedding photos for some of my other friends. I have never seen a bad picture from her. Casey McMurray Photography took pictures of my 8 month old baby girl and a few family pictures. Casey is a talented photographer and a lot of fun to work with. She had creative ideas for great shots and worked very hard to capture beautifully lit candid images of my baby girl. Within 2 days of the shoot, she gave us a nice mix of candid and artistic photographs that far exceeded my expectations. Casey is very good with kids and was very patient with my daughter. The amount of time she spent with us was quite generous. She was happy to take a little break for the baby to eat and she moved quickly to make sure we got as much done as we could while the little one was awake and happy. I had no idea what I wanted and Casey was happy to offer suggestions. She helped me choose outfits for the baby, myself, and my husband. I assumed a neutral palette would be best, but the rich color scheme she suggested really made for beautiful pictures. She selected different areas in and around our home based on lighting. I just love that the images were captured in the places we spend most of our time with our little lady - in our living room, on our porch swing, and walking through our neighborhood.
