These guys did a great job on my house.  I called them to do a one-time clean before I had an open house.  They came when they said they would, were professional, and did a very thorough job. I have hired maid services in the past and have always felt a little disappointed. Either they didn't get to everything they said they would or things were done so rapidly that nothing was done well.  Dallas Maids was a little pricey, but it was worth it.  I     am planning to set them up every two weeks until my house sells.  It's so nice to come home to a clean house! Dallas Maids is absolutely awesome! I had given up on cleaning services because they left me disappointed. I found myself in a bind and needed cleaning before we had weekend guests. The ladies from Dallas Maids showed up on time and systematically cleaned my home from top to bottom. I added for deep cleaning and I am so happy I did. My house sparkles. Every surface was touched. The service at Dallas Maids is convenient, reliable and they do a really good job. The lady who cleans my place is punctual, trustworthy and thorough. I always get advance notice by email and text of when she's going to be there, and if I need to reschedule, it's easy to get in touch with someone. They have several different cleaning arrangements (i.e., weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly, etc.), and are more than happy to customize, or take on single cleanings. Dallas Maids has worked in our home for about 3 years now. They are courteous and professional. Over the time they've worked in our home I have noticed that a good cleaning has become an even better cleaning. The company has made some positive changes and their office staff/ scheduling is very organized and well managed. I get courtesy email reminders of upcoming scheduled cleaning and courtesy calls if needed for other information. The ladies appreciate input and want to do as you ask. They are always on time within a window given. They get in, work quickly and move on. I am pleased and use them once a week as a support system to my regular everyday cleaning. I hired Dallas Maids after receiving an email promotion for 50% off. The only "catch" was that it was only good for two specific days, the team that would come out was new, and I would need to give them my feedback. Fine with me -- I had a baby just a few months ago and I've been pretty good at "maintaining" (i.e., doing dishes and picking up the big messes) but needed a little bit of help with the deep cleaning.I went online to book and received an estimate. I was then emailed and notified that there would be an additional charge since I live on the outskirts of their service area. That was a little frustrating since I didn't see anything mentioned on the website about an additional charge based on location (just to call if you're outside Dallas so they can work out "logistics issues"), but whatever. The quality of the work was pretty good -- there were little details here and there that were missed, but since the team was new and I got such a great rate I was definitely willing to overlook it. All in all, I was really pretty satisfied and kept walking through the house chattering about how happy I was for it to finally be clean again. Since the first time I've contacted them, they were responsive and professional. I hired them for a move-in cleaning and they sent a team of two maids. I was not satisfied with the cleaning, especially the detailing that they were hired to take care of. We recently moved my 94-year-old mother-in-law to live with her daughter in the Houston area.  She had lived in her one-story apartment for over ten years, and although she had cleaning help once every two weeks, her place was in great need of cleaning after she moved out.  I called Dallas Maids to see about a final clean, and scheduling was really easy and fast.  The day before, people had come to pick up items purchased from an online auction.  Many different people walked through the apartment that day.  Once everything was out, two lovely ladies from Dallas Maids arrived and "hit the floor running!"  I never would have been able to do what they did in the amount of time they took.  Other than the carpet which had some spots, everything looked great and smelled fresh and clean.  The carpet is being removed anyway, so they simply needed to vacuum it.  I watched them thoroughly touch EVERY corner with great care.  I just know that they were life-savers for us!  They really never stopped or took a break...they rarely talked...and each one of them was strongly focused on her own tasks.  I live in a suburb of Dallas, and I do have a couple of ladies who have cleaned my home for the last 30 years.  They are efficient and do great work.  However, for the dirt and dust of a normal move, Dallas Maids were the best I could have found.  I highly recommend Dallas Maids to anyone!  The apartment was not really small....two bedrooms, a study, dining room, family room, and two full baths.  Just wonderful professionals!  Thanks for a job well-done! Hired Dallas Maids for deep cleaning of our home.  The staff arrived on time and went above and beyond to make our home like new!  We were quoted 5-6 hours and it took approximately 8-9 hours but Dallas Maids honored the quote provided and did not charge.  The ladies made sure every nook and cranny was cleaned.  They were very professional and will definitely use them again!  Blanca the scheduler and manager checked in regularly and even after the job was complete to make sure we were satisfied.  Highly recommended. Hired Dallas Maids for a move out clean and then when I got my keys realized I needed a move in clean at the new place too. Emailed them on a Monday and they were able to get a team out on Thurs (the day I requested). The ladies did a great job on both my cleaning jobs. I have used this company twice to clean my mother's home in McKinney.  Both times I have been pretty happy.  As a disclaimer - I own a popular cleaning company on the east coast so I may be a little pickier than some.  With that said...1. I did notice that the cleaners could have done a better job in the kitchen.  Once they had left, I noticed the cabinets were not wiped down because there were two stains that were there before they started.  My mom is pretty much a neat freak, so it would not have taken them but a few extra minutes to take care of that.2. The bathroom shower in one of the guest rooms did not get cleaned3. The customer service of the office staff could be better.  The cleaners left without saying they were finished.  As a customer, it was a little disconcerting because I A) had a very generous tip to give both ladies B) I was upstairs and had no idea that they had gone until finally I came to check and saw that they had just left (with our door being unlocked) for who knows how long.  That isn't safe and I don't think it is good customer service.  I text the company (because that is how they were communicating with me) and they never even acknowledged that I said anything or told me I could add the tip to my card etc or apologize that they left without even saying anything.4. The contract they make you sign before the appointment says the only guarantee the satisfaction of the recurring clients.  That is appalling.  I would never slight a new customer of my business just because they were only getting on cleaning.  When I asked them about this they said they would "try" to fix things if we weren't happy.  As a lawyer, I was very hard pressed to sign this.  However, since we had already used them once (they subbed in for another company that stood us up so I did not have to sign the contract the first time) I was ok having already seen the quality of their work.Overall my mother was happy with the service and I will be starting her on a monthly routine. Update to my previous review. Dallas Maids did call me today to explain that it genuinely was a misunderstanding. They are new to the Cleaning for a Reason program and really didn't know that they were committed to four cleanings for the patient they picked. Even though I am now matched with a different service, Dallas Maids very generously offered to give me the four cleanings when my current service runs out. I arrived on the (virtual) doorstep of Dallas Maids as a result of a recommendation from another maid service that couldn't accommodate my completely unrealistic need. It's not a knock on the other service at all, but it helped Dallas Maids with this great review. I called on the Wednesday before Christmas, needing service before Saturday. So there was a two day window, less than a week before Christmas. I was very grateful for them being able to do the work, because my wife and I were getting over pneumonia and desperately needed the help. So, with this in mind, I was thrilled when 2 maids showed up on Friday afternoon, ready to attack our mess. They worked very efficiently and quickly, getting the bathrooms cleaned spotless, and the kitchen just as good, despite there being a lot of clutter in there. They made organization out of chaos. Vacuuming and mopping were handled with great care as well. They even stayed longer than originally planned to get everything taken care of (again, on Friday afternoon. so this was probably cutting into personal time, not even a client's time). UPDATE (APRIL 6, 2011): After my dissatisfaction with the service the first go-round, the owner, Greg, called to make things right and assured me that "they were not at their best" when they cleaned my house. He offered for them to come clean again at no charge so I can receive the kind of excellent service they believe I should have received, and I accepted his generous offer. They came on Monday, April 4, 2011 and Greg was absolutely right that the first time we did not have their best service, because this time, our place was spotless. Absolutely perfect. The shower floors where extremely white, the floors (hardwoods and tiles) were polished and mopped, and the whole place just shined. Things were put back in their proper place. I can honestly say I was very pleased. I will keep my original postings below so you can see my journey from being an unsatisfied customer, to the fan I am now. FIRST UPDATE (MARCH 2011)My original review for Dallas Maids was first given on 2/1/11 with a one star rating. However, I have since changed it to two stars, having been graciously contacted directly by the kind owner about my unhappiness with the service, which I very much appreciated. I think the added personal touch of making sure a customer is happy. I also apologize to Dallas Maids for posting an incorrect final quote and final bill. I originally posted a $297.00 final quote, with what the actually charged me being $225 because I was trying to remember off the top of my head. The owner, again, very graciously reminded me of the actual figures which were indeed a $259.00 final quote, with the final bill, after some misunderstandings cleared up, being $203.50. So, with a few minor tweaks to my first review, I alas, still have to stand by the fact that I was an unsatisfied customer. However, the other reviews have been good, and their owner goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. With that said, the review is below. ORIGINAL REVIEW (FEBRUARY 2011)My wife and I decided to have a maid service come clean the house for Christmas. I called Dallas maids and they gave me and estimated cost of $166 (37.00 per maid an hour for approx. 4.5 hours). I thought this was a little expensive for a 1700 sq.ft. 3/2 and this was the first time I had used them and I know that usually the first time is always more expensive. They arrived 45 minutes late, then locked their keys inside of their car and had to wait for a lock smith so they didn't get to start until an hour after they said they would. After a few hours going by I received a call from their office asking if they could be given one more hour to finish, which I thought was because they had started an hour late, so I agreed, but later found out was being charged the 37.00 per maid hour. After they were done, the bathroom tubs and showers hadn't been cleaned well, and crumbs were still all over the kitchen floor, and things were not put back in their proper place. They called later and gave me a final bill of $259. Yikes. I called and explained how unhappy I was with the service and how I had been charged for the hour and a half they were late and locked their keys in the car, so they took off billing me for that, which I really appreciated. So the final bill came down to $203.50. Unfortunately, for me, given the moderate size of my house, this was too expensive for not a good enough job. Like I said before, even though I greatly appreciate the owner of the company writing to see what they could do to make things better, but I simply was an unsatisfied customer. Others have been satisfied in there reviews and it appears that I am the only one that has had this experience, so read the others and choose for yourself. More...

After I had a falling out with the maid service we hired to do a move in clean on our new house, I wasn't going to have the same company do the move out clean on our duplex. (I want my deposit back, dangit!) That's how I ended up calling every maid service I could find on Yelp at 7am in the morning to have a move out clean done before we turned in the keys. Who called me back promptly at 8am when they opened? Dallas Maids.These guys did an incredible job on our duplex. All of the floors were spotless, windows were cleaned, they scrubbed the fridge and the stove, and cleaned the blinds and the fans!
