I highly recommend Cantu's Culinary Creations for a number of reasons! They are very professional with the ability to cater to a variety of dietary needs. We hired them to cater a weekend conference and we weren't the easiest of groups to work with. I hired Daniel on a friend's recommendation to cater a one-day film shoot—as well to provide craft service. Considering our relative modest budget, I was blown away by the selection of refreshments that were provided and how incredibly delicious the meal was. My friend asked me what I thought of the catering and I told him, "This is better catering than I've had on a lot of studio-backed feature film sets that I've been on." What’s your signature dish?
Our Fiesta Taco Bar is one of our top sellers. Chicken, carne asada, shrimp or roasted veggies along with beans, rice, three fresh made salsas, corn & flour tortillas and all sorts of condiments to make your own epic creations.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We aim to serve our clients exactly what they want. After having sent a custom menu based on the season and our current cooking favorites, we will have several conversations leading up to a tasting to nail down what will be the perfect meal for their event.
What do you love most about your job?
I love serving delicious, wholesome food to people and seeing the joy that brings. As far as food itself goes, it is the common bond for all people and every culture has wonderful things to offer. The wide variety of ingredients and techniques available combined with adding my own to twist to things has helped keep things fresh and exciting for over 25 years.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own business was the natural progression of my career in the food industry. My catering business has lead to the expansion with another business, the Twin Suns Cafe, located at 2305 S Highland Dr Salt Lake City, UT 84106. At Twin Suns Cafe, my devotion to wholesome food has created a Mexican inspired breakfast spot with Star Wars themed decor (another one of my passions.)
