I'm a veterinarian that recently moved to Charlotte and adopted a standard poodle puppy with separation anxiety. Because of his fears of being left alone I was cautious to leave him in a place where he would be unattended. After interviewing several of the available day care options, it was clear that Camp Run-A-Mutt was heads above the rest in all regards. The highest value in the business is the staff themselves who instantaneously make you wonder if they could possibly love your dog more than you do! Their facility is immense, clean and approachable. They practice high transparency both with their initial tour visit and with their "Muttcams". Beware, your productivity at work is likely to suffer as you watch your puppy play all day. I was impressed how the dogs are always engaged and that the staff is not watching them in the corner, but instead constantly playing and encouraging them. My impression is that they are significantly more cost effective than other day care sites, they stay open later and don't require reservations in advance- a must for busy professionals.Recently I was a kept at work by an emergency surgery and was unable to pick my puppy up by end of day. Despite being after hours I was offered to pick him up late or keep him overnight which was extremely accommodating.The greatest value of the facility is by far Beverly. As I came home very late that evening without my puppy I new that he would be loved on and reassured as if he was in his own home. A text message photo (attached) of him snuggled in her arms brought a warmth and comfort that you can only get from knowing your family member is loved. Camp Run-A-Mutt is an amazing gift to dog owners. The facility is clean and well maintained. Bev and her team are welcoming, warm, attentive, caring, and reliable. Most importantly, my dog is obsessed with Camp Run-A-Mutt. She squirms and squeals with excitement once she realizes we’re en route to the facility. With separate indoor and outdoor areas for large and small dogs, ample room to run, a splash pond for water lovers, cage-free daycare and boarding, and conscientious and nurturing staff, Camp Run-A-Mutt appeals to all. Bev ensures all pups are loved, secure within the facility, and safe with other dogs. Staff members monitor dog behavior closely and swiftly separate dogs when necessary. Cameras are set up throughout the facility and broadcast live on their website, which allows me to watch my pup all day. It’s so nice and fun to check in on my dog whenever I want. Wow what an awesome small business! My puppy, Kevin, has enjoyed this facility for both daycare and boarding. The place is kept super clean and the owner and staff are very friendly and attentive. I feel like Kevin has fun playing with the other pups and getting attention and love from the staff. It eases my separation anxiety to have the ability to watch him on the several webcams which are up and running most of the day. There are so many positive things to say about about Camp Run-A-Mutt I am not sure where to start. Aside from it being cage free, Camp Run-A-Mutt has the friendliest staff in Charlotte. My dog absolutely loves going here; he loves the staff, the dogs, and all the play areas. The owner Bev did an amazing job on the up-fit. There is an exterior water feature for the dogs to play in, and nice interior matting and exterior synthetic turf, which protects the dogs paws and keeps them clean. My wife and kids love to watch our dog on the pet-cams as well. I haven't had a reason to board my dog yet, but will definitely take advantage of the cage free boarding when the time comes. Amazing Cage Free Day Care. My 7 month puppy - Sexy, loves going here. The facility is new and so nice with synthetic grass and rubber all over so your babies can run freely. They have a splash pool for those fur babies that love water. whether you are a customer or not you have free access to webcams to check out their facility, and all the fun things your baby would be doing here. I can’t even begin to put into words what an amazing job these guys do!! They are professional & extremely knowledgeable and have a real passion for what they do and that shows in their workmanship. What do you love most about your job?
My favorite part of starting this doggie daycare is knowing that I am not only helping alleviate the symptoms dogs can suffer when left alone but also relieve the owners guilt over leaving them for extended period of time. There is no reason to feel any guilt when you know your fur-baby is in safe, loving and cage-free care!
What inspired you to start your own business?
At the age of 14, I began managing my family doctor’s local antique store and an animal wellness awareness campaign. This is when I knew I had a real passion for animals and need to get involved to aid in the betterment of every furry friend should I came across.
Later in life, I began taking positive reinforcement animal behavioral courses to better understand and ease the anxiety for my own beloved Lab/Weim Mix, Bentley. That is when I decided to take my passion to help others and my love for animals and open my own doggie enrichment Daycare and Boarding Facility; Camp Run-A-Mutt (CRAM) CLT.

Cage Free Daycare
We feature a park-like outdoor setting on premium synthetic turf, with a custom built splash pond and waterfalls. We have ramps, bridges, and tunnels to run through and waterproof dog beds to stretch out on in the sunshine or under a shade sail.
Cage Free Boarding
We offer the most unique cage free boarding anywhere. Campers who qualify to be overnight guests are in for a wonderful experience. Not only do they get to play with their buddies all day, when the sun goes down they come inside and settle in for a night of snuggling, television, and community snoozing on a bed, cot or human of their choosing. Yes, I said human; no cages, kennels or plexiglass “suites” here!
Fear Free Grooming
We are now offering full service grooms, bath & brush, de-sheds, nail trims, puppy packages, etc! We are a force free, fear free, cage free daycare, boarding, and grooming facility!
