My dog was boarding at Camp Bow Wow when I was out of town. He ended up needing immediate vet care on a Sunday night when there are a lack of vets open. The assistant manager Jaylyn, without hesitation said she would wait with him at the emergency vet for the 6-8 hour wait. This is after she worked her regular shift that day. I couldn't believe she was willing to do that. I ended up finding a vet that was open and had my emergency contact taking him but I will never forget that she was willing to do that for my fur baby! Thank you!! More...

We've only been here a few times but I'm happy with the services. Having a camera is a must these days and they even have a "snout" mode camera that is closer to the ground. It's just a nice little extra. I do understand that toys amongst a big group of dogs could present issues but my lil guy loves to fetch so it's a bummer that there aren't any toys for him to play with. I boarded my dog for about three days and even as a neurotic helicopter dog mom, I did feel comfortable leaving my lil guy for a few days. From what I saw, he was in the park with the other pups during most of the business hours. I also got a full report from the CS rep when picking him up which helped instill more confidence that my pup was well looked after. More...

What's that old adage? It takes a village to raise a puppy. And luckily for me that village is located in Las Vegas.Dogs are needy. They require constant supervision and outlets for their nearly unlimited energy reserves. And if your dog is like mine and they love to chew and make big messes; I wouldn't recommend just putting on Netflix on the living room tv while you leave them unsupervised for a few hours. No matter how much you trust them unless you're willing to come back to half your furniture being gnawed on.Luckily Camp Bow Wow is the solution. The facility is huge and the staff are all super cool. They might not remember me by name but they never forget my dog and even greet him by name whenever they see him. And the feeling is definitely mutual. There is also an app you can download so you can monitor your pet while he romps around the campus. And for those times you're going on vacation but aren't able to take your dog with you? Camp Bow Wow even offers overnight boarding which has been a life saver many times in the past. And during major holidays they offer the opportunity to have mini photoshoots for your furry friend. Both of my dogs love camp Bow-wow Las Vegas, and come home totally exhausted!! They always make us feel 100% comfortable when dropping them off. When boarding them they assure us everything will be done exactly how we like it. They offer different solutions if dogs need to eat alone or together. Also this last time one of our puppies was on a medication and they assured us they have an excellent way of making sure meds were properly given! All the other dogs we see being dropped off are always excited to go in, which speaks for itself! We also love the fact that if we need a bath in a pinch and can’t get in at this location we are able to squeeze into another location! Thanks for always greeting us and our pups with a smile!!! We were in Vegas to visit our grandson. We drove our RV to vegas and had our english mastiff Otis with us. We didn't intend to have Otis with us but his sister passed in February and we couldn't bear to leave him with the sitter. Otis is a very nervous dog his sister was the dominant and told him what to do. We tried leaving him in the RV for a short period and he cried and scratched the screen door (viewed via baby cam). So we found camp bow wow. The staff was incredible and made Otis feel safe and welcomed. We took him two days in a row for 5 hours. He loved it and slept like a baby both nights!!!! When we arrived, we were told the reservation had been cancelled because we didn’t pay the required deposit. The management and staff were able to work out a way to keep our dog there for us so we did not have to cancel our trip. For having just gone through the interview process, I'm loving the experience thus far. First reasons: It's super convenient to process the paperwork online, and the communication's been seamless so far. Visited their website, completed their new customer forms online that involved me answering quite a bit of detailed questions, then calling their location to set up an interview reservation. The rep was super informative during the phone call, which involved her warning me that the interview would be at least a 3-hour visit, and I'd need to respond to an email inquiry for more information. The same day I made the reservation, I got an email requesting our dogs' vaccine and rabies shot records. One of our dogs needed to update their rabies shot, but guess who followed up the day of the visit? Their reps! And, no worries, we got their rabies shot updated before their interview. When we got there, we already noticed how uncluttered and clean the lobby and office area was. I can just appreciate a well-organized workspace. The rep we talked to was nice to remind us about the time length and verified our contact details, but added a few other tidbits we didn't know like... There's an app to let us see how our furbabies were doing in the social areas. That certainly put a smile on the hubby's face 'cause he's very protective of them. Honestly, from what we saw on the dog cams, our furbabies had a decent time. One attendant noticed that our gentle giant was shy and really clung to her, so it seemed like she didn't stray too far from him for his comfort. Of course, they let our princess be the social butterfly that she is with the other dogs. When we got there to pickup our furbabies, the same rep that checked us in went through all the details of their interview, which they passed. Nice! Yeah... I definitely trust them so far. More...

My dog went to camp yesterday for the first time and he is still recovering - winning!! We've seen Camp Bow Wow advertised at events but have never checked them out until just recently; and let me just say, we're bummed we haven't gone sooner! We were nervous bringing our dog in for his Interview Day being that a couple weeks ago he came back from the vet/groomer traumatized and bruised. But after reading all the good reviews we felt that he was in good hands, and the staff did not disappoint. They helped answer any questions we had and even gave us a quick tour. Although we felt comfortable leaving him hear, their mobile webcam app gave us that extra peace of mind. It wears him out, the staff is attentive, friendly, and understands that dogs will be dogs. I use to watch the cameras like a hawk, but I know my dog is in good hands so I rarely look at them. Let me start off with yes, I will most likely continue to use Camp Bow Wow unless I find a better option. My first experience with them was amazing and I enjoyed being out of town and able to watch my pup on the camera. I also love that they are adamant about vaccinations and use the safest collars for dogs as they are walked.

Then there was the one experience that threw me off. Before I left on my trip I dropped my baby off that morning when there was a new employee that was obviously being trained on accepting new pups. He came over to grab my pup, he was a larger man (which I will get to in a moment), who dropped the retractable leash as my dog cowered from him and it hit my pup in the face. I assumed it was a mistake and we didn't say anything however I wish I said more. Later that day I was in California in an Uber when I decided to check on my pup. I saw on video that my pup was the only dog out of a room of nearly 20 being walked on a leash by that same larger man. I wrote on my new client form specifically that my dog (being 10lbs) has a huge fear of larger men/women (height or weight) and I request he be held by anyone with a more petite stature. I immediately called the facility and asked why he was on the leash and the woman up front was acting confused and gave me an attitude when she said they do that when a dog is humping other dogs. Mind you, I have never had a problem with him humping other dogs and he was being walked completely out of the room instead of just being separated for a quick moment. I let her know there is no reason that someone I specifically advised not to handle my dog should be handling him and she said she would fix the situation and let me know any updates. She called back to let me know that's how they bring them to dinner since they do not pick up any dogs which sounds like it makes sense at first but then I remembered my dog stays in the small breed room where the kennels are stacked and not side by side. You expect me to believe puppies or Chihuahuas just jump up? I digress. She was polite in her second call but honestly the whole experience was just guinea pigging the new guy with my dog and I lost trust for the staff after this experience. I usually love how much they play and how they are treated but I feel disrespected that the section where they ask who should not handle your dog is just completely disregarded. Not sure what I will do for my next business trip... More...

I would take my guy every so often for day care, but for a while he was boarding several times a year. The great thing about boarding is during the day they get out and play for no additional cost!
