We worked with Paul on a major remodel of our home. Paul was always accessible and quick to respond. We added to the scope of the project and Paul was willing to take on more. We are very picky about finishes and required a few things to be touched up, and Paul was always accommodating, as well as being proactive in monitoring the work of the subs. The budgeting, reporting and billing were on time and thorough and we very much appreciated Paul’s open communication and collaborative efforts.
Paul was present on the job site and we felt like he kept control of the entire project. Paul is skilled at sourcing high-end options at cost effective prices that allowed us to stretch our budget. It was a truly enjoyable experience to work with Camelot Custom Homes and Paul Streeter.
Paul was always accessible and quick to respond. We appreciated his offer to attend meetings with architect; it was extremely helpful to incorporate his ideas and suggestions into the initial designs. We valued his experience and feedback. The workmanship was superb, the budgeting, reporting and billing on time and thorough and we very much appreciated the open communication and collaborative efforts never feeling rushed in the decision making process. Fantastic resources from custom metal work, unique lighting, tile, fixtures and built-ins to landscape design. Skilled at sourcing high-end options at cost effective prices that allowed us to stretch our budget. Paul Streeter from Camelot Homes built an 8,000 sq foot home for me and my husband in the hills outside of Austin. This was a very large project which was completed in 2008. Our experience with Paul was wonderful - we became friends in the process and remain friends to this day, which i think speaks enormously about the quality of the communication between us and about the overall experience. The home turned out to be amazing - many people who see it comment on the quality of the design and construction. Paul is more than just the overseer of the building process - he has a great eye for design which made a big difference in the final result. One thing I particularly love about working with Paul is the quality of the subs he brings to the job - the painters, the tile layers, the carpenters - everyone is highly skilled and a pleasure to work with. I have another home inside the City of Austin and Paul also did a significant remodel there - completed in 2012. This project again was very successful and the results are highly satisfactory. Paul Streeter saved us! We had a somewhat difficult project on a very sloped lot that left other builders scratching their heads and quoting us high prices. We were feeling like it would never happen when our architect pulled Paul into our project. He stepped in and made it look like childs play. Always professional, very budget conscience (often coming up with suggestions to save money), honest, dependable and quick! Camelot Custom Homes has their system down. Building always has it stresses, but very little stresses Paul and that calm gets passed on to you the owner. I felt well taken care of with Paul at the reigns.
