I help companies deliver their brand message through imagery and head shots for their website, social media and annual reports. I document families/people in all stages of life- newborns, children, high school seniors. I cover family and corporate events including- Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Birthday Parties, Non Profit Galas, Anniversary Parties, Communions and Weddings. I am also happy to offer Product and Architectural Photography.

A few weeks ago my family had the pleasure of getting our pictures taken by the very talented Cara. We had no idea how much fun we would have. Cara made each of our daughters feel special and captured their unique personalities. It seemed effortless how she encouraged the girls to pose and enjoy their time in front of the camera. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Communication is the key to building a trusting relationship with your photographer which will produce the most appreciated photos.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Although I am happy to review a project via email, almost all projects require a phone conversation. As I work with both corporate and family clients, this conversation takes many forms. For portraits I always guide clients with clothing options. For events we review the timeline and important required shots. For anything advertising related, it is important that I understand your brand message so I can communicate it to your audience.
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy collaborating with clients as we work towards their end goal and being able to share in important and joyful life moments.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After a 20 year career in Financial Services, I wanted to take my part time business full time. My corporate experience has made it extremely easy for me to work with high profile companies and non-profits. Discretion, professionalism and trustworthiness allow me to win repeat clients year after year.
