What makes a great website?
1. It's got to be mobile-friendly! Your images and fonts should be easy to read, no zooming or dragging the screen around to see your content!
2. Images are the first thing people notice. Selected images that grab attention and make you look professional! Bad or tiny images will turn people off.
3. Simple and clean designs that aren't cluttered
4. Clear headings and informative text that's not too lengthy
5. The use of fonts that are appealing and easy on the eyes

1. Who is the primary audience for this website?
2. What is the purpose of this website? (eg: to be found on Google, to show off your projects, to tell about your business, etc.)
3 What websites do you like?
4. Do you have a logo and/or a specific look already in mind?

What do you love most about your job?
We love replacing old websites like from 2009 with mobile-friendly, sleek, attractive new websites! Making the web beautiful, one website at a time! The next best thing about web design is getting referrals, because that means we nailed it, and made a client very happy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
CalApps started out as a part-time hobby, first as a website-builder application we called "Kawinda" (that was supposed to sound really catchy, like "Yahoo!"). However, it soon became clear that custom work was much more satisfying and that's where the demand was, so we changed to CalApps and have since grown into a full-time endeavor.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are real people that you can call up, email, or meet with. We care about the final result because it becomes part of our portfolio, so we listen to what you want but at the same time we will recommend what we think works best based on our experience. We are patient and helpful and we don't rush our work. Every client gets the same attention and treatment no matter the scope or budget.
