Big 5 star review to cakelava!! I was looking for a place where I could get an spectacular cake for my husbands 50th bday. We are not locals to Vegas so I wanted to make sure I found the right place for what I was looking for: amazing cakes, fabulous designs and above all professionalism. At cakelava I found this and more! Form my first email Sasha was quick to contact me, we mainly had email conversations and one phone call, she was in top of everything. Originally I had an idea of a cake but Sasha and Rick provided some input and feedback regarding my design that I ended up doing a much better version of what I have originally thought of.We worked out the logistics, and even thigh I reached out to them 3 weeks ahead of the event they were able to accommodate my order. Needless to say, today we got to see and taste this beautiful master piece because that's what it was. My husband loved it , family was just in awed and even the restaurant staff were delighted to see this wonderful piece of delicious art. I told them cake lava did it! My husband and I had a Beatles themed 20th anniversary vow renewal in Las Vegas recently. We put a lot of planning into the event, and I'd always wanted one of those amazing cakes that you see on TV. I called Cake Lava, and it turned out to be the best decision. Sasha listened to what I wanted, and she co-ordinated everything from cake tasting to instructions on how to cut it. We had several conversations around what exactly I was hoping for, and she patiently listened and came through with everything I envisioned. I brought my brother, who is a graphic artist, to the design and planning meeting with Rick. He was so open to suggestions and even incorporated some of my brother's designs. Rick himself is a truly talented artist, and it was obvious that he took this project seriously and put a lot of care into the creation of my cake. I chose Cake Lava because of their stunning portfolio, but our spectacular wedding cake and their outstanding customer service surpassed my already high expectations.
The cake was customized to match my bouquet flowers, and they looked so real that my maid of honour almost refused believe that were hand-crafted, until I assured her that they were for the 3rd time! This really makes it incredibly special when you put a flower on each of your guests’ plates, and they get to appreciate the remarkable artistry, talent and time that were needed to make them.
I was also equally impressed by Sasha’s incredibly caring, personal and attentive customer service. She invested a lot of time to answer all of my emails in detail and honestly made me feel like her most important customer, even calling me several times to discuss the design, the choice of cake platter, and finally the delivery and safe handling. Both Sasha and Rick personally delivered the cake at the venue and greeted us and our guests in such a friendly manner. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outstanding service we received, and the stunning cake that will forever grace our wedding photo album!

Oh, my...these were the nicest and most creative designers. Rick is such an artist and designed the flowers to match my real flowers. He captured the colors perfectly. Sasha and Rick are absolutely amazing! I am from California and was having a 30th birthday bash for my fiancé in Vegas. I tend to have trust issues with chefs and bakers, so I always go and try their food and plan out the logistics in person. However, I wasn't able to do this and had to fully rely on prior yelp reviews. BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE!!! I communicated with Sasha via email for a few days to describe what I wanted and the unique details I wanted for my fiancé's cake. Sasha took the time to explain what I could get with my budget, delivery costs , and when last minute details popped in my head she was sure to make it happen seamlessly.Once we got the cake, everyone was simply amazed. The details were spot on and delivery was perfectly on time. I could not thank Sasha and Rick enough for such beautiful work. In fact, we didn't even cut the cake until the next day because we wanted to preserve it for pictures/ to admire. But when we did the flavors were on point. If you're looking for an amazing cake for any occasion, look no further. It's easy to see from this Yelp page why we trusted CakeLava to make us an unbelievable WOW cake for our recent corporate conference in Las Vegas. It was to be a replica of our first company restaurant, featuring our founder and the first hostess in the front scene, to honor our 40th anniversary. To say they delivered on their promise is an understatement.Beyond the incredible cake, I can't say enough about how patient and accommodating Rick & Sasha were through every stage of the design process, from planning to execution. As a team, they are incredibly talented, earnest and thoughtful about every detail and every aspect of the process, and committed to it's success. We were an extremely demanding client, who wanted to get every detail just right, and they were just as dedicated to the project as we were, which I can't properly convey my appreciation for in this review, although I wanted to try. As the event got closer, we also had several last minute "what if" requests, ALL of which they executed beautifully and on time for our event. Thanks to their willingness to go above and beyond, and do whatever it takes, the cake was an absolute hit, and people were in awe of the attention to detail and talent behind it. Last, but certainly not least, they assisted us with a delivery to our hotel venue during an unexpected high-security situation, where we had to find an alternate storage space, and an alternate route to get to it. Cakelava is AMAZING. We used them for our wedding cake and it was gorgeous and incredibly delicious! We contacted them several months before our wedding and sent them what we were looking for and some of our wedding colors and decor. They responded quickly with a gorgeous cake and a really great price. We get to the wedding reception and see the cake, and we were completely blown away. A number of guests thought it had to be an art piece decoration and couldn't be our cake! When we get to the cake cutting and people start eating it, the flavor and quality were outstanding. I spoke with one of the owners, Sasha, whom instantly made me feel both comfortable and confident that this was the bakery to use for my wedding cake. I ordered a 2 tier semi-naked gold foil accent cake and requested burgundy and navy flowers to match the color scheme and it came out even better than I could imagine. Cake Lava is as good as it gets. From the moment we did a tasting for our wedding cake we knew we found our bakery. We ended up ordering two cakes prior to our actual wedding (one for a friends birthday party and another for a Christmas party) prior to our actual wedding and have subsequently ordered another cake for another party later this year. Rick is a try artist. He re-created one of our favorite bottles of wine as a Groom's cake a people did not believe it was real (and it was delicious). Our wedding was back in April and people are still talking about the cakes today. His cakes not only look amazing but they taste amazing as well. They were able to create a custom Game of Thrones masterpiece for my fiancé's surprise birthday party on a two week deadline (mind you that the cake was serving 10-12 people). Rick and Sasha are seriously the dynamic duo of everything cake related. They are incredibly professional; incredibly kind;
and incredibly talented. I am not usually one to like wedding cake... it normally doesn't do anything for me. That all changed when we were referred to CakeLava. I do not have enough positive things to say about Cakelava.... our wedding cake was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS (seriously. ALL of our guests commented on how delicious it was), and the cake was also AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. No one could believe that the flowers on our cake were HANDMADE by Rick! He has some serious talent. Rick made our vision come true... and even added an amazing watercolor technique to our cake (I had never seen that before, and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!!)

I recently ordered a Louis Vuitton brief case cake last month ( actual picture of the cake is posted in the photos ) .I gave them some pictures of other Louis Vuitton brief cakes on Pinterest I found as samples of how I wanted the cake to look like.
