Went for a light lunch and a drink. We had the sparkling rose and split a turkey, bacon, and avacado sandwich with the Cajun cole slaw. All were great! The piano playing in the background as we sat in the deep end of the old hotel pool was something else. The cafe closes at 3 pm, so leave some time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Consider touring the Lightner Museum before grabbing some lunch. More...

It's pretty and the food was good. I got the Turkey cranberry apple sandwich. And for dessert, the flourless chocolate torte . .. so yummy! The only thing I didn't like is it seems to lack warmth. No privacy, people at the museum are looking over the railing at you... kinda weird. More...

A must see in St Augustine. In addition to great architecture, the cafe is a nice treat. While you are there be sure to walk around, see the old pics on the walls. This is the home of the world's largest indoor swimming pool. It is no longer a pool, but still a fascinating stroll through a historical site. If those walls could talk. Be sure to stop by the museum and gift shop. More...

The atmosphere was unique, sitting in the deep end of an old indoor swimming pool (really!) and listening to piano music being played while you dine. The wait staff were attentive and informed. The food choices sounded perfect. There was a good variety of options. But the price was a bit high. I had the Hummus Salad. The hummus was bland. The pita wedges seemed stale and consequently had little actual flavor. The greens of the salad were fresh and flavorful. My wife had the Spanicopila salad. Flavorful, but a bit small. More...

The food was great and so was the service. However the table we sat at was right next to a staircase, which seemed unsanitary because people walking up and down those stairs could be kicking dirt onto your table. Other than that it was a good experience. Just don't sit at that table. More...
