I have worked with Biff and Kevin at BW Design on a total of three projects involving both my home and my beach house. The renovation to my home was massive and involved two complete floors, kitchen, home theater, multiple bathrooms and all new furniture. I can state without reservation, that the final product was far superior to what we had initially envisioned or imagined.
The flow to our home just never quite felt right. After years of considering the scope of the project and after speaking to several designers and architects, we thought we had a good idea of what we wanted. When we met with BW, they brought a completely different and fresh point of view to the entire renovation. Biff and Kevin have a unique way of looking at things and suggested ideas that we had never considered. They also took our ideas and goals and enhanced them to fit into a final product that surpasses our expectations. The back and forth on the designs was easy and actually fun.
No renovation is without problems and we had a few bumps on the road. BW was able to work with the contractors to address these issues, often before we were even aware of the problem. Throughout the process, they consistently stood by their commitment to do whatever it takes to meet or exceed our expectations. Simply stated, we could not have had a better experience than having bw design remodel our bathroom last year, and most recently our kitchen and dining room. When my wife said "the new kitchen exceeded her expectations" that was the icing on the cake. Dealing with bw was the easiest process by far. Nothing was ever "a problem". The design was very creative. The crew was great, and they left the house very clean every day. The project was finished on schedule on both occasions.

BW Design has done 3 large projects in our home. The first project was a quiet, spa inspired bathroom. Our friends loved the finished project and it resulted in at least 5 other bathrooms within 1 year. Next was redesigning the living room and lastly an Adirondack themed 400 sq. ft screened room where we can entertain, dine and sleep all spring/summer/fall.

Their design was impeccable and the execution on target, both cost and timing. Their sub contractors are professionals who consistently deliver what BW envisions. BW spots the little things we missed and work with the subs to ensure the project is delivered to the highest standards. We marvel at the little touches that make such a large difference in the end. Placing the shower handles at the entrance to the shower vs. under the shower heads...what a difference it makes!

We reached out to BWD based on a recommendation from a friend of ours. We were working with a well known architectural firm in the area, but we needed design expertise that could give us guidance on integrating the structural design with our way of living, along with our "wants and needs" in creating the interior space.

Biff and Kevin were able to take what the architect provided and our feedback and create a plan that tied everything together. We started off with wanting to add a "little" space, but eventually this turned into a massive one-year project, which included complete renovation of the exterior, front landscaping and the entire first floor (and a few additions).

They listened to us along the way, made adjustments when needed and always knew that they had our best interest In mind. We encountered only a few major issues (like the granite in our kitchen, concrete in the garage), but Biff and Kevin worked to find the right solution for us.

The best thing that we liked about this relationship was that they truly treated this project as if this was their own home - they were more than responsive, paid attention to all the details, always brought a vision, went to bat for us and truly understood our desire and style.

There is very little that we would do differently. We love our house and have received amazing comments from friends, family and strangers. They are truly professionals and know their craft. I would recommend them to anyone considering high-end design and upgrades to their existing home.

We asked BW Design to design and carry out down-to-the studs renovations of two of the three floors in our house, and we definitely will be engaging them when we're ready to do the other floor. When I approached BW Design Group I was unfamiliar with their target client --- I simply needed a few small items to blend in with my current décor (not purchased through their firm). Kevin was very kind and respectful as he described to me that they typically don't do things like this but he made an exception and helped me pick out (and buy) the PERFECT light for my living room. Not only did I appreciate the time he took - but I appreciate the "no job is too small" approach he showed me. Funny thing is - this was 6 years ago and now, being married and living in a new home, I am looking to BW Design to do a complete overhaul of my main living space.
