What do you love most about your job?
I take great pride in seeing a client come from struggling to stepping with confidence. Not only knowing the current status of their business,
but aware of where it's headed an how its going to get there.
What inspired you to start your own business?
years ago a friend appoached me if I could help their friend with the accounting for their new business. I said I would take a look and see. I thought how simple it would be to go in set up a chart of accounts for them and leave. I was so wrong! the client knew nothing of licenses, keeping their books, taxes, statutory reporting and on and on. They did know what they wanted to do and who their client was. So I stayed on board, trained staff and consulted for 18 months. Then I ended up doing their taxes. I felt so good when I would hear great things from the community about how well her business was going, and she of course started sending me referrals. I was doing this all while working a nine to five which I loved also. Then came life, I wasn't loving the nine to five as before, I got caught up in a lay-off and there I was with income from my side business. That's when I decided to bring the side business to the front line, and haven't looked back
