I had a great experience with Burton Transit. I was visiting New Orleans for an Avon Convention and needed transportation from my Hotel to the Airport. Nelson the owner was not only on time but was 20 minutes early. I was impressed with the cleanliness and newness of his van. I was even more impressed with the professionalism. It was pouring down rain. He made sure he escorted us into the van out of the rain. He got us to the airport with time to spare. He was very neat in appearance. I'm a little late in getting this posted because I've been sick. However, I didn't want to let anymore time pass w/o letting potential customers know how accommodating this company was during our stay. They picked us up from the airport and even gave us tips on some of the better eateries in the area. And when we got caught in a hurricane situation back in July, and were trying to exit NOLA, they made sure they took care of me & my friends and got us to the airport before everything started to shut down in the city. Better late then never...we visited NOLA a few weeks ago and Burton was great! I will use them anytime I go to NOLA. They're on time. They communicate in advance and send text reminders regarding pick up AND drop off. This is a family owned business as well and they made us feel very welcomed! I also found out I could contact them for transportation in ANY state and they can connect us with a ride anywhere. I usually take Uber/Lyft but the surcharges were ridiculous! We could upgrade to a black car or limo based on Uber's surcharge. I appreciate working with nice folks like Burton. More...

This is a small, family-owned business providing excellent transfer services in their area.  Nelson was an absolute pleasure to have in our service!  Nelson was wonderful, professional, informative, and provided great background information about the area, history and challenges of living in New Orleans post-Katrina. He was always prompt, ensured safety when transporting my family (even going so far as to provided a booster seat for my toddler), and provided great recommendations of venues and activities to check out while visiting.  We came to NOLA for a cruise, but it just so happened that French Quarter Festival coincided with our visit and Nelson highly recommended it.  My family and I had an absolute blast taking in all of the culture, wonderful food and amazingly talented and lively people of New Orleans! I got in a week ago and Burton picked me up at the airport and whisked me off to the Amtrak station to continue my journey to my sister's place in McComb. I was delighted to see Nelson again since he was the driver on this run (we couldn't decide if this was my fourth or fifth trip with Burton), and we caught up on what's been happening since the last time I used their service. I don't know if you are allowed to leave two reviews but I wanted to add that when you ride with Burton, it's not a transport company...you're riding with family! Burton Transit provided exceptional service to our group during our trip to NOLA. Our group of 10 were originally on the same flight but due to the FAA grounding all Boeing 737 planes, our flight was canceled which forced us to scramble and get flights arriving all on different times. So I called Nelson and told him our situation and he accommodated our different flight schedules and changes to our reservation. He was so courteous and professional. My sisters and I used Burton Transit for pick up from the airport while in NOLA FOR 2018 Essence Festival. When I called the office at the last minute to secure pick up from the airport Nelson Jr answered the phone. He was very helpful and professional. He made sure information was correct & everything was set for pick up and scheduled a return. He put my mind at ease and told me he would take care of us while in their town and he kept his word. Loved the driver Nelson Sr. who picked us up & dropped us back to the airport. He was patient and did not rush us at any time. On the last night in NOLA our drivers Justin and Ashley was fabulous and gave us a great tour of the city and was very patient with us as they customized the tour to meet our needs. We had a great experience with this family owned business. They go above and beyond for their customers. They will be my go to for transportation when I'm in New Orleans. Burton Transit by far is the best company I have used when traveling..They are very professional and on time. They are also friendly and gave great suggestions on places to visit and eateries which was very helpful. My flight was delayed and they monitored my flight info and was there when my flight arrived which was Great and appreciated. Nelson was amazing!  He rescued us when we couldn't get an Uber after Jazz fest.  Nelson was so polite and accommodating that we ended up using him and his company for all of our transportation needs during our stay.
