I'm really surprised by some of the bad reviews for this place...This is the place I have been wanting to try for several years. We were out at Play CLE which is only 5-10 minutes away, so we came here afterwards for lunch. Most of us ordered the boneless ribs, the specialty of this place. This was the menu items featured on the episode of Shark Tank! I really enjoyed the ribs. I had never had boneless ribs before, and these lived up to the hype. We tried a variety of sides and my favorite by far was the mac & cheese. It definitely had a homemade taste to it. I would recommend getting a full slab of the boneless ribs and splitting it with someone. It's cheaper than getting your own meals and you get two sides, although the portions of the sides are fairly small.We only had one hour to eat and told them that upfront, they were good about getting us out in time. They also have some very cool sports memorabilia to check out. I don't think I would make a trip out to Avon specifically to come here because I live an hour away, but when I'm in the area again, I would definitely come back. More...

I found this place on my way back to Toledo and I'm so happy I did.  I saw it on yelp a year ago but never made it back to the area.  At any rate, I stoped in by myself and ordered the pigs in a blanket.  Don't get mad if they don't have any left, I think they made them especially for me.  I also had a side of baked beans.  I got the food to go and I barley make it back to the interstate.  The meat was so tasty, I couldn't stop eating it.  They give you a side of sause to dip it into.   I wished I would have taken a picture before I started eating, but I was too late.   I will definitely bring the family back on our next trip to Cleveland.  I'm going to try the ribs next time.  Can't wait!! The food & service were very good. My father & I ordered the D-Boned Baby Back Rib Steak & the Brisket Bites. We both enjoyed having the meat deboned, it made the eating experience much more enjoyable. The meal definitely lived up to the promise of being able to be eaten with only a fork. Great place, good location. Nice family environment. I've been here several times and unfortunately it's not very consistent. Sometimes the BBQ is perfect, sometimes dry. The food is excellent, the room is cold, and the chairs are like school furniture. But after all ....its all about the food! !...Bbq restaurants are kinda few and far between. I bought a Groupon for a barbecue platter for 2 to give this place a try. We were not disappointed! Not only was the meat tender it was delicious! We added an extra side and an extra meat and ended up with a take home box enough for an extra lunch for 2.  Joyce was our server and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We love this place. Great atmosphere especially when Mr. Baker is in the house. I hope he brings back the collard greens (his aunts recipe) since the last time we went they were not on the menu. Love this place.
