For the structural repairs required and the full whole house stucco removal and replacement for my historically significant property (circa 1878), Bryant Phillips brought the manpower on time and on schedule and also provided repairs to hidden problems. All sub contractors were highly professional and of the highest quality. Supervision was provided on the project daily. For the detail work, David Carey from Bryant Phillips provided the highest level of attention to historic detail wood working and re-pointing. A highly professional organization. More...

After a hot water pipe burst in my house while I was in FL and ran for four or five days I never thought it would be the same. I contacted Bryant Phillips and David Carey came to inspect my home, after a through inspection he indicated that he could restore my home. The true heart pine floors were raised and cupped and the clean out folks and insurance company wanted to remove the flooring, however David said to leave them alone and he thought the would dry out and be fine .They dried out and settled down and saved thousands of dollars and I was able to keep the beautiful flooring that looked fantastic after refinishing.
The paneling was removed piece by piece restored and replaced the attention to detail was remarkable. He and his workmen were very accomodating and patient when it took a week of sampling different stains for my wife and I to get the color we wanted.David's knowledge and experience were invaluable in all aspects of the reconstruction weather it was choosing tile and design for the master bath , designing and installing new patios,or painting. This project took a year to complete and at the conclusion I could not be happier
I would highly recommend this firm without any reservations for new construction, restorations or additions

Total project cost was $10,982. Work performed: installed 24 replacement windows on 3 floors of our 87-year-old house. Removed and disposed of all old windows and triple track storms. Using a glaze finish, matched the surrounding age-darkened stained wood trim surrounding 15 of the new windows. Stained kitchen window to match previously stained kitchen surfaces. Created a pane grid for new kitchen window matching that of a previously installed window in the kitchen.
David Carey managed the entire work process closely. He was on site every day, often more than once. He provided excellent liaison with the window supplier when there was a manufacturing problem with the new screens. His crews were very professional and we were comfortable having them in the house. They answered our questions readily. They cleaned working areas and moved furniture back into position daily so we wouldn't be inconvenienced. We are very pleased with the final product and would hire this company again.

We have had extensive work done by David Carey of Bryant Phillips Construction since 2007, and are exceptionally pleased with the results. The project was completed in 2010, but we still use him today. David was our general contractor for the complete restoration of two historic homes, as well as the construction of a new barn and pavilion, in Rose Valley. The work reflects a degree of craftsmanship seldom seen today -- and has been done in a thoroughly professional and pleasant manner. The result can be seen on our website: www.rosevalleyfarm.com.

David, his crews and subcontractors are creative, courteous, and reliable. We can highly recommend them for all sorts of construction and restoration projects.

We added a 2 story addition to our property. Work was performed professionally.
The employees and workmen that were on site were prompt, courteous and conscientious.
I would give them an A+ for their carpentry, painting and floor refinishing.
All in all, we are thrilled with the work they have done and would hire them again for another project of this magnitude.

Evan has been a wonderful guy to work with. He is very kind and professional. He knows his craft and takes pride in his work. This project was the first one we worked on together. Like with every larger scale project there's always something unforeseen not going according to plan or schedule but he always makes sure everything moves along. The end result of this home renovation turned out absolutely beautiful and especially the cabinet maker he subs did an amazing job. More...
