I started with Browning back in June 2022, and found a position in March 2023. My position is a promotion from my previous position. I found Browning out of frustration. I sent 20 applications out with zero response. Going in the front door of companies doesn't work very often anymore and I didn't know how to find a new job in this market.I had several questions before spending the amount Browning was asking: is this real? Is it worth it? How long does it take? Whats the process? Percent chance of landing a position? Browning was very upfront and honest, and it was not a sales pitch. They are selling a service that immediately pays off and skills last forever. Understand what you are signing up for. Browning doesnt magically find positions. It takes commitment and trust in the process. The process: There were a few classes on getting my LinkedIn page setup to attract views. I had weekly meetings with my coach, ***** to build my network. ***** has seen and done it all. He had the right answer for everything. He helped navigate hard interview questions and provided guidance in developing my network and roadblocks during networking conversations. Interview prep was critical. He knew the questions to prepare for and knew the types of people I was up against. After the interviews were debriefs, so he was always collecting real time data and feedback for all of their clients.I was also provided the tools to help others. It wasnt just about me and my career, it was about how can I help others to encourage them to help me when I need it. I would recommend Browning for career transition, and to develop your network to last beyond this transition. I would not recommend Browning if you are not ready to fully commit yourself to your transition. As a college professor who teaches Career Development and Success Training, I cannot recommend Browning Associates highly enough. They are an exceptional business. Here’s why. When a new President took over at the University where my husband was a longtime executive, and I was a professor, we were shocked to find we had lost our jobs. She brought in her own executive team and never even met us. Let me start off by saying that if you simply want to find your next Job – Browning is probably not the best choice for you. John has assembled an outstanding team of professionals and a process that will enable you to identify what your next move is and how to go about it. The process certainly takes more time than simply crafting an excellent resume (and they did that too). Like everything in life – you will get out of it what you put into it. If you do the homework, they ask of you. Work hard with your coach, and make the calls, you will grow personally and build lifetime skills. For me – John and the team were a real lifesavers. Browning and Associates lived up to their promise - and more! They put an entire team onto my case including a professional resume writer, updating my Linked In profile with SEO, practice networking and interview strategies, providing industry introductions, and one on one coaching. As a result, just as their ads claim, I received two offers within five months for high-level executive positions. I was able to choose a company which has the best culture fit and in a region of the US which is most the most beneficial for my industry. Most importantly, even when I was struggling on occasion with hopelessness, the entire Browning team went above and beyond their job description to inspire and motivate me. I have good news! I’m pleased to report that I successfully closed corporate investment last week. We’ve formed a new company for which I serve as president. We are continuing to pursue all the same projects, only now the company is well funded with significant capital resources. We will be releasing a formal announcement soon but I wanted to share with you the good news. Perhaps the most exciting part of this new partnership is that my wife and I negotiated a personal technology license for humanitarian and non-profit purposes when my employment with the company is complete. Browning Associates were key in finding my new executive job. I had held several management jobs but never at the executive level and Browning got me there in 6 months. It was a GREAT deal of hard work on my end (10-15 hrs per week) and the team met with me weekly to ensure momentum and guide my progress. They re-wrote my resume and cover letter, updated my Linked-In Profile, helped me structure my contacts, put me in touch with about 3-5 executives each week, and prepared me for each interview. I researched multiple prominent coaching firms and even met with a few of them in person. I found after doing additional research on each of them, that their claims seemed to be somewhat misleading and overinflated. I eventually came across Browning & Associates, and after doing my due diligence, was impressed with their track record and reputation in the industry. When I first met with **** as part of the coaching process it felt like talking with an old friend. He turned out to be a very genuine, and honest person.
