My daughter Ciara has been attending the BPA summer program for several years now and loves it to the point where she makes it one of her top summer priorities. Each child is treated with respect and given the opportunity, instruction, and encouragement to let their individual talents shine. It makes me so proud to see my daughter and her friends make their final performance at the end of each camp session, especially after hearing their passionate discussions about practicing their lines, songs and dance numbers - not only at camp, but at home. Broadway Performing Arts (BPA) is the hidden gem of North Jersey! With Elisa Heinsohn at the helm with Mark Bove by her side, they, along with their team of instructors, offer an experience that allows motivated dancers, actors, and singers, at any level or age, to grow into a better version of themselves. As a long time recreational tap dancer, I was originally drawn to BPA to experience another teacher's tap style, but soon after working with Mark, he discovered what I really needed to grow - other dance styles and full body movement. My children have attended various classes at Broadway Performing Arts for years now and I am grateful for the dedication of Elisa, Mark and their team of excellent teachers. Rarely have I found a school of this nature that approaches their actvities with such enthusiasm and genuine warmth for their students. My daughter is in her third year of enrollment and we could not be happier. She has taken Musical Theatre, private voice lessons, private tap lessons, and group tap lessons. Her skill levels have skyrocketed! The staff is professional, encouraging, positive, and they love their art, it shows! What do you love most about your job?
I get to pass on what I did for a living for 30 years by teaching dance, voice and acting, and changing lives through the arts!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to open up a performing arts studio so I could pass on my love and passion for the arts!

Our services are both 'in person' and remotely. All of our 'in person' classes are offered on zoom as well.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We follow all CDC guidelines and have all the Covid protocol in place. Taking temperatures when students arrive. All frequently touched surfaces disinfected before and after all classes. The entire facility is disinfected nightly. Air is circulated throughout. Hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes are in every studio, in the lobby area and office. The entire facility is at 25% capacity.
Dance instruction
We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary for all ages.
Musical theatre classes!
These classes include singing, movement, acting with scene work and improvisational exercises for all ages.
Private Voice instruction
Personalized voice lessons that teach the proper technique so there is no damage to the vocal cords, choosing and working on appropriate songs for the age and vocal range of the student. Open to all ages.
Private Piano, Ukulele and Guitar
Personalized instrument lessons start with the particular technique agreed upon with the student, choosing and working on appropriate music for the age and ability of the student. Open to all ages.
