Awesome! The Home Purchasing Process is confusing and stressful. There are so many documents, contracts, contingency dates, it is enough to make your head spin. No matter what time of day or night, Zack always took my calls. I felt welcomed with my questions. I could trust his knowledge and experience to put things into a straight-forward easy to understand context. Zack would talk to me like a regular person, not a "salesman". He made sure everything was done all at the right time with the right people. He had excellent referrals for financing, inspections or any thing else need. I am a veteran and was using the VA Home Loan to get a home. Prior to going with Zach I had tried a different agent and he wanted me to max out my loan and told me and my wife that what we were looking for + the price we were looking for was unrealistic and that if I did not change what I wanted to meet what he had to show me I would not find a home.
I had signed up with Zach to receive the property listings about a year prior but never pulled the trigger on buying a home because I was transitioning between jobs and I found his emails in my junk folder. I decided to give him a call and sent him my pre-approval letter. He asked me what the parameters of my search were and explained to me that with VA it would be possible to find a home but may be difficult as the condition has to be move in ready. After our conversation he sent me a list of 60 homes within my price range and up to the max of the loan amount+ VA/FHA approved properties that met our parameters. My wife and I let him know that we wanted to look at three properties. We were able to go the very next day to look at the properties and once having seen the first property nothing else compared. After having chosen our home he submitted our offer right away plus gave me some guidance on how much to offer so that I would come in with no down payment as per VA parameters.
Our offer was accepted (*which wasn't even close to our max loan eligibility amount + below what we expected to pay for our home) on a Friday and by Monday Zach had an inspector out at the home. Zach was very proactive from here out and stayed in constant communication with us through out the process (which is awesome because a 45 day escrow is very stressful).
This was a big deal for us as it was our very first home and we intend to stay where were at for a very long time.
I could not have been happier with the experience that I had with Zach and would definitely reccommend him as he is not a high pressure sales person. Zach listened to what we wanted and we were definitely able to get what we wanted!
