Brita Olsen = the best decision you will ever make for your wedding day. My bride and myself were recently wed at the Wythe Hotel on Sept 18th of this year and Brita was our "day-of" coordinator. A more appropriate title would have to be one of the following:i) Wizard of efficiencyii) Queen of organizationiii) Countess of chilled-out-preparednessBrita Olsen made our wedding day magical. When we first spoke to her discussing what we wanted our wedding day to feel like she told us that "I will ensure it will be like a dream, you will just glide from the ceremony to the dinner to the cake cutting and dancing without batting an eye and with zero stress." It was exactly that. Brita ensured that all our vendors were properly coordinated with our venue, that all of our gifts and donations/cards were safely taken up to our room and that the venue staff were on top of their game the entire evening. Brita was also CRUCIAL to our venue walkthrough weeks before the wedding in that she brought up TONS of issues with our venue space that we would have never thought of (ie. photo friendly locations for our sweetheart table, rain planning, table length and appropriate measurements etc. etc.). We also may have set the record for quickest and most efficient ceremony rehearsal of all time. There really just isn't enough nice things to say about Brita Olsen.Our wedding day literally the best day of our lives and that wouldn't have been possible without her poise and her laid back and efficient demeanour. Without Brita I can't imagine how things would have gone down. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone getting married - she will make your dream day come true. Brita is crazy-amazing at whipping up absolutely stunning events, and can work with a range of budgets. She did two of my friend's weddings (one of which was featured on Design*Sponge), and helped me put together a gorgeous wedding celebration for a friend who got married overseas (we hosted it at Isa in Brooklyn). She's got killer taste and is totally chill. Book in advance though - her schedule fills up really fast during wedding season. More...
