Describe your creative process.
Creating a design brief with information about the project, • Researching the category and competition • Sketching and conceptualizing designs • Presentation of the design concepts to the client • Redesigns and layout updates • Creating and releasing production ready artwork.
There is a detailed description of each of these phases in my creative process on my website at brandpackstudio.com/more.html
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
The Design Brief is the central go-to document for the design process. It contains the scope and goals of the project, information about your company, consumers and competition as well as general design specs and deadlines. There’s no shooting in the dark for good design. Rather, it’s a strategic process. If you are unfamiliar with writing a design brief, we can do it together.
What do you love most about your job?
I can have beer at lunch and bring my dog to work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Over the last twenty years I have worked as a designer in various agencies and privately held companies. My path from Junior Artist to Senior Designer, Art Director to Creative Manager and finally as a Creative Department Head, lead me to open my own studio as the best next step in 2011.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a commercial graphic designer. Let's schedule a few minutes to talk so I can show you my dog and pony show.
