Our waitress Hannah W. Was fantastic and the food we received was good. However, I would rate this restaurant 3 stars. The kitchen staff was slower than molasses and the management clearly sucks considering they only had one server working. We ordered at 2:45 and at 3:40 we still had not received the Mac and cheese. When we left we noticed the kitchen staff all on their phones. Our waitress was a doll considering everything management put her through (by herself on a Saturday lunch rush during the fair). Great spot to grab a bite n brew in Cary!They offer $2 off 16oz pours (which is usually the price doff between their 16 & 10oz pours) and on Mondays. But, the big draw for me was their poutine! They offer four variations, but the way to go is the Québécois version! The montreal meat and pickles really add some nice flavor contrasts and their gravy/cheese curds are on point!They offer a decent draught selection, but was surprised there weren’t more local Cary/Raleigh brews represented?The Staff is super nice and attentive, as well. BottleDog Bites & Brews is one of those hidden gems that Cary seems to hide! Located in a bland strip plaza off of Chapel Hill Road, this little eatery serves as bottle shop, sports bar and bar food eatery all in one. BottleDog lives up to its name with a usually fantastic offering of beers on tap along with a large assortment of beer by the bottle. But where BottleDog really stands out is its food which has a Canadian bent. My wife says this a hidden treasure.This obscure restaurant is on a side street in a part of Cary I didn't know existed. And I've lived here for 23 years.I never ate poutine in my whole life but it's amazing. This is the only restaurant I know of that has Canadian specialties. We had a nice experience and I'm giving it 4 stars for the very friendly service and dog friendliness.  Boyfriend had the southern style hot dog and I had the chicken tenders. His was ALOT. Good but in a gross sort of gluttony way, not like oh these are great ingredients. My portion was also huge, I took 3/4 of the tenders home but they were good quality and did not seem frozen.  Only disappointment was that in the menu it seemed like it came with fries or chips under "meatatarian" but didn't. Service is always friendly and efficient, and the food is consistently amazing, but today's visit has been a step above and beyond! First off, the menu has tripled from what was available a few weeks ago. There are many more apps, pizza options, sandwiches, and quite a few veg options. Service has been on point tonight, food was awesome, and I love that they are dog friendly to all pup's, especially my pittie! This is a great place to go eat, especially if you are jonesing to get some Montréal Quebec style food. The Montréal Smoked Meat style beef is very close to Schwartz's and the Poutine is pretty decent as well. The only negative that I have at this place is it is not very kid-friendly with a children's selection, which is tough if you want to feed the family with young kids. The sandwiches are still pretty impressive and I recommend the place if you're coming out here for a date night or just with adults only. More...

It's hard for me not to rate 4+ stars for any place that's as dog friendly as BottleDog. The food is typical pub food but their beer selection is pretty impressive. I had the brats and a pint of Those Who Made it Out. Good stuff! They have dog bites on the menu too, a comfy patio, and friendly people. Bottle Dog Bites and Brews is a true beer geek's tap room.  I would go so far as to say they have the best tap list in the area.  The Beer Grand Poo-Bah is James and he loves to talk about...(wait for it)...beer and food.  He does gourmet pop-up beer dinners around town that you should check out if possible.  Anyhow, he is the beer decision maker selling his soul to bring us the best hop beverages.  If you know your stuff, their price is more than fair for what you're getting.  Most venues in this neck of the woods won't open their wallets to get the kegs James is able to pull.  If you like to save a buck or two, they have  1/2 off NC drafts (some of the best the state has to offer) and flat-breads on Thursday.  On Sunday, ALL draft pints are $6 which is perfect for watching a sporting event on one of their many flat screens.  I question their profit margin on these special days.  Anyhow, their tap list is always up to date on Untappd.As far as the food, you will not be disappointed.  They do have some pub grub items which are far from typical.  Their flat-breads are outstanding.  They use duck fat on many of their items.  Brats are amazing.  Poutine stands up to anything I had in Montreal.  Big fan of the Nashville Chicken Sandwich.  Also, they have really nice dumplings they do from time to time.To wrap things up, I friggin love this place.  The team at Bottle Dog is always friendly.  The food is great.  The venue is great with seating inside and out and they're dog friendly on the patio.  The beer...well, great stuff just seems to keep flowing. I've been wanting to try this place after strong Yelp reviews and hearing how it's one of the few places that air live hockey games. Although the NHL season is over, my gf and I were craving pub food and this place certainly hit the spot. I ordered the garlic parm wings and they were huge and super satisfying. My gf really enjoyed her sweet bbq chicken tenders. I tried some of the sauce, which was on point. We were thankful that they had vegan cheese to substitute in the poutine, as well as serve the gravy on the side to accommodate for my gf's dairy allergy. I think the poutine itself, would have tasted better if it was served the way it's supposed to be with cheese curds and gravy on top, but such is the life of dating a great girl who's only weakness is a sad sad aversion for dairy. We went here on a Tuesday at around 2 in the afternoon. This is when their happy hour flatbreads are, by the way!!! The food was all fresh and their poutine is to die for! Awesome place for a great drink. 12 taps with lots of local brews available. The food is gourmet but at reasonable prices. I love the spicy wings and tenders they use a home made sauce with Ghost Peppers. They have good specials all week and seating inside and out.
