My son did the Kodaly class in Cambridge, and while he decided singing wasn't his thing (for now at least), I was incredibly impressed with the class and how much the kids learned in a fun, age-appropriate way! I would 100% recommend Boston City Singers to anyone looking for a singing class or group for their child. More...

This performance is very powerful and Impressive. It should be the theme song for the marches of today.

Just wanted to let you know how incredibly thrilled we are with our new partnership with Boston City Singers. Our first collaboration on November 6, a program of Art Song, was a resounding success. The Tour Choir's performance of Schubert's Standchen with one of our soloists, mezzo Krista River, was polished and sensitive. The German diction was spot on. It was obvious during the workshop with our soloists and vocal coach the previous day that these students had been extremely well prepared and absolutely up to the task of tackling a piece of this complexity. They were a joy to work with, dedicated and disciplined. Just a fabulous occasion over all. We look forward to many more opportunities for collaboration. Bravi tutti!! Our son joined Boston City Singers 7 years ago when he was in 2nd grade, singing with their Training Chorus in JP. Over the years he has moved from the Training Chorus, to Cantare, and now is singing with the Tour Choir. And our daughter has also been singing in JP for a few years and is now with the Cantare group. We love this organization. Much more than just singing and music, our children have been nurtured by all the staff. The organization is well run, and provides great community. More...

This organization is wonderful. It's a warm, caring environment where the kids learn to sing. Their performances are heartwarming. Most importantly, Wendy and Debbie (who run the program) are the most dedicated individuals I have seen in all my daughter's extracurricular activities. You can see the results of their commitment in the performances and in the growth of the children. I feel honored to be a part of all of this! Caroline More...

My daughter has participated in the Cambridge Children's Chorus for 3 years, and she has had excellent musical instruction and opportunities to perform in amazing venues and with professional companies. My daughter has now been in two operas, one at Jordan Hall and one at Trinity Church, as well as a performance of Nueva España with Boston Camerata. They have also performed at Cambridge City Hall and Cambridge Innovation Center. Wendy, who directs the chorus, is a gem. She puts her heart and soul into her students. More...

My daughter has really enjoyed her three years with Boston City Singers Training Chorus and Cantare. Wendy, Josh and Debbie are true professionals who know how to motivate the kids, keep them singing and bring their skills to new heights. My daughter entered the program knowing no one and has made lots of new friends. This is a fabulous organization. More...
