Best Indian food in the valley! If you like spicy they WILL make it spicy, so be careful. Their lunch buffet is a great deal.

This was my first time and and won't be my last! I am here for only the weekend from Texas and I am so glad my mother put this place on the list. The delicious flavors, incredible waitstaff, and great ambience were impecable. I can't wait to come back here again when I am back in state! Delicious authentic Indian food. Buffet was hot and fresh and had a wide variety of choices available. Masala is sweeter rather than hotter, potato soup and sprout salads were delicious as well. Well worth the price.

Food, service, and atmosphere are all very good. Every dish of the authentic Indian cuisine is tasty and well prepared. My resistance to eating here more often is the abundance of naan, rice, and potatoes that I consume when eating a good Indian meal. Me and my wife have been to Bombay Royale several times and undoubtedly this is the best Indian restaurant I've experienced in US over the last 15 years. The staff is very polite and friendly and the owner and the managers make sure the food is fresh and of the highest quality. The restaurant is very well managed and the menu is enormous. They serve both South Indian and North Indian food. No other restaurant in Northampton, Hadley, Amherst offers this kind of a menu. I would highly recommend Bombay Royale. More...

While the lunch buffet didn't have a huge selection, it did have a good representation of different foods. The price is great, especially since it is in downtown Northampton. Got there right at opening time. Was greated and seated immediately. Food was ready and fresh. Many options to choose from. Everything I had was yummy and interesting party for my taste buds. The customer service was beyond great. Our glasses stayed filled and they also give delicious bread treats while we ate. The restaurants atmosphere was wondering. I went to Bombay Royale for the lunch buffet. It was very busy, but we were seated promptly. The variety of North Indian was fresh and skillfully prepared. I often find the food at Indian buffets a bit bland, toned way down for the public, but his was well seasoned and moderately spiced (mild to medium heat). Vegetarian options available. Really very good food. Parking in Northampton can be rough, so it is helpful that BR is very close to 3 lots and a couple of blocks from the parking garage behind Thornes'. My one negative observation was that seating was very tight, tables super close together and a bit difficult to navigate. It's a small place with a great buffet at an inexpensive price, so plan ahead to bump elbows and go to Bombay Royale. More...

Sampled the weekend buffet today.
Excellent, authentic Indian food. Service excellent, naan breads given immediately as you sit. $27:50 for 2!!.
You can go up to buffet as many times as you like.
Good bar, & wine list. We will be back!!.
