Laura is an amazing events specialist! Her company name is so fitting, because she's chipper and unique, just like a bluebird! My husband and I had our LA reception on April 1 for all of our Cali friends. After chatting with Laura, she had a brilliant idea to host it at a mansion that we could find through Air bnb or Homeaway.

Little did we know.

Once people hear the word "event" or "reception" they automatically jack up the price by 2 to 4x. It's ridiculous! But, Laura was diligent and hit up dozens of properties, knowing that we were on a suuuuper tiny budget and that this idea was perfect for us.

Lo and behold, she found one! And the place was GORGEOUS! It was right in the Hills, about 2 miles from Universal. The neighborhood was awesome! The house had enough room for 12 people to stay the night (our parents were in town and my brother and my husband's sister stayed as well), and it fit the 50ish guests with room to spare. Bonus: the outside! We love to grill and the outdoors, and the patio was huge! Giant grill, ample comfy seating, and a (*sigh*) hot tuuuub.

Did I mention we were on a budget? DIY everything. We made paper flowers, gold bottles, and all the food and drinks. Not only did she direct where everything went and the flow of the event, she got in there and helped make everything. It was a huge help, and it allowed us to mingle with guests rather than have to worry about the logistics.

Also, side note, for my wedding in GA (my husband and I are both from GA), Laura made stunning head pieces for myself and my bridal party. So, if you're looking for some uniquely crafted jewelry and want someone who consults with their clients before the hand-making process, she sells bespoke pieces as well.

To sum it all up, she's extremely attentive to both her clients and details, and she goes the extra mile to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. Hands down, recommend her so, so much! More...
