Blu Salon has a lovely, welcoming, spa-like vibe. Fabulous customer service with a personal touch. I noticed lots of special, small details to create a pampering environment- like a warm towel after your shampoo or the deliciously scented hand soap and lotions in rest room. Stylists take time to understand exactly what you want in terms of color/cut and then deliver. I've had either partial or full highlights/cut/styling with Ainara or Courtney. Both wonderful stylists! Also, the shampoo chairs are super comfortable - no sore neck. I've been here about a half dozen times and am always thrilled with the results. Highly recommended! More...

I've been going to Ainara since high school--so about 11 years and I always leave loving my hair! Ainara and all of her staff are incredibly welcoming and the salon is SO relaxing. I love that Ainara continues to keep up with the latest trends in color and at this point she knows me and my hair and what I like well enough to tell me when something is a bad idea! What more could you want from a stylist?! Another thing I love, Ariana is looking out for the health of her clients by switching to safer products! I always leave feeling beautiful! The Cezanne treatment they do is real life changer--anyone with thick frizzy hair MUST inquire. It will change your life! A week before my appt I sent Ainara Moulier-Kosack a pic of a total color transformation that I was thinking about...when I got there, we chatted for a while about the color and I absolutely LOVE the color I left with (I always do! ) She also recommended two EVO products which I just used and they smell amazing. I have been going to Blu for years now and I just love this place. Everyone is so nice and they all do a terrific job coloring and cutting my hair every time I’m there. I have been to Jayme who has since left, Ainara, Breanna and now Courtney. The atmosphere is so relaxing and open. These ladies really take care of you and make you feel beautiful. Jayme did a fantastic job with my hair!! I have very fine, thin hair and after my cut it had plenty of volume. She look the time to recommend what would look best on me and threw in a few curls after she was finished (that lasted all day! ). I'd been looking for a new salon "home" for quite some time after the person I had been seeing for years moved away and tried a number of salons and stylists before I found Blu. At my first appointment, Ainara took her time talking with me about what I wanted and showing me color examples. I was overjoyed with the results and it has been just as good each time I go back. Ainara also did a similarly fantastic job with my daughter's hair, which is very different from mine. In addition to running a very nice salon and being an excellent technician, Ainara is smart and fun to talk with. I like the whole salon experience here. It's small and relaxed, perhaps even serene. Finally found a stylist that knows how to style thin, fine, stringy hair. Had a consultation with Ainara where we discuss my hair. She suggested a style that would suit my fine-stringy hair. Jayme did my hair for my wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had a trial beforehand and Jayme made some improvements to the original updo to make it truly perfect. They were absolutely on point!! We went as a whole bridal party (there were twelve of us including moms and family members). They were so efficient and did a great job on everyone. We even finished early and it put us a head of schedule for the rest of the day. I don't think I've been in a bridal party where hair and make up didn't run over by an hour.... This was really great. They closed the salon down for us on a Friday (although they also go offsite if requested). The salon itself is really cute and well decorated for good pictures. They provided snacks and champagne. The layout is perfectly set up for wedding parties with the seating area in the center of the salon. There's also plenty of room for girls to do their own make up or hair on the side. The salon does make up and hair (no nails) and were very accommodating. Also, most of their products are apparently gluten free (i didn't know that was a thing) or organic. They want you to leave loving your hair so they ask you how you like it as they are doing. Liz did my hair and I was honest the whole time and I think she appreciated it as much as I appreciated her asking. Nora (the owner I think) did the brides hair and make up and the bride looked stunning!Would definitely recommend! More...

Airana is the best colorist and stylist I have ever dealt with. I had a bad red experience and swore I would never do drastic color again. And here I am after many sessions and coaching by Airana I am trying all kinds of colors and styles that fit my personality. I will never ever go to anyone else.
