My girlfriend has come here a few times and she isn't one to do reviews online, but I feel like something should be said as to how well they do here. She usually gets a hair cut at the same time as getting her hair colored. Usually red or purple, and they do a great job. They are very personable and friendly. Absolutely the best experience I have ever had in a salon. All the girls are great and Gina the owner is AMAZING! No one else in the world is allowed to touch my hair she has magic hands. I am bi-racial so it is really hard to find a stylist who knows how to do my hair without making it too greasy or too dry or cutting off to much when its straight to where its extremely short when it curls up (which is how I normally wear it.) I agree it is expensive, but it is worth every cent. I have been to many different salons all over Denver and in Cherry Creek and Blondies is by far the very BEST. I have been going to Gina and Cameron mostly and they have amazing talent with color and cut. I have been to other stylists in the salon and watched as their clients leave and they are all beautiful. I would not even think of going anywhere else. I have recommended friends and they have loved the salon as well. I don’t usually take the time to review online, but I have to comment on my recent experience at Blondie’s. As a twenty-something on a budget, I view hair cuts/color as an imperative investment—BLONDIE'S WAS WORTH EVERY CENT! I've tried other salons in Denver and Boulder—after seeing Gina Martinez, I will never go elsewhere. Gina took the time to listen to what I was looking for and gave me a cut that was exactly what I needed. The color is perfect, the cut superb--and all were tailored to fit my lifestyle and hair type. (Too many times I’ve gotten a cut that looks great leaving the salon, but looks terrible when styled at home.) It’s been two weeks—I love the style just as much today as I did walking out of the salon. Blown out, curly or air-dried—I’VE NEVER RECEIVED THIS MANY COMPLIMENTS ON A HAIRSTYLE! Yes, the salon and stylists are busy, but what's that old saying? "If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it." I recently had my hair done by the wonderful Gina Martinez at Blondies Beauty Shop. This was the best experience I have ever had at a salon. Everyone is very professional and friendly. It is a very unique experience from the time you walk in to the end. Gina is truly an artist with her color and hairstyling. She takes her time consulting on what you want and then she gives her input and expertise. Gina's assistant Erika is going to be a great hair stylist as she learns the tricks of the trade from the best, Gina.
