What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Repetition, Repetition Repetition. After taking well over 100,000 photos, I can confidently say there is no one "secret" to taking a great photo. Like anything, the more you take, the better you get at taking them ;-)
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
After the who, what, when, where and why, all done via complimentary consultation, I ask:
How do you plan to use your photos? Would you like to display them? What type of session would you like? It's okay if you don't know, we will guide you to the Perfect session for you. Other questions would be based on the answers received from the above. I like to get a feeling for a person's individual style and personality, as well as their artistic taste.
Wardrobe and make-up are discussed throughout the consultation. Color matching to a consumer and color matching to a photographer are very different. We wouldn't dream of letting our clients sit for a portrait in a blue black shirt unless that was the request.
What do you love most about your job?
Our Fabulous Clients! Without them, we don't exist. Many have become friends & repeat visitors. Watching their emotions when the first see their photos is priceless. Receiving a compliment that melts my heart, being trusted to photograph a newborn baby or other milestone.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Personal Fulfillment- Clients always thank me for my dedication and passion for the job. I care about each and every photo I create.
Why should our clients choose you?
Why shouldn't they? Most photographers have a full time job and a business on the side. This is a fully operational business. It is our first priority and only "job". Clients can get physical products AND digital share files without paying an arm and leg.

I will gladly edit your personal photos or instruct you on how to take your own portrait to send to me for editing or background replacement. Your child can dance on top the trees without logging off their device. Bark will not send these requests-you must reach out directly!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The BLS team is fully vaccinated and masks are optional, although we will follow all government mandates. Hand sanitizer is kept on site, we can't stop now! Lol
Maternity Portrait Sessions $175
Maternity sessions include use of our gorgeous closet of gowns! We have everything from va-voom sexy to timeless & classic! We may even order a gown for you to add to the collection or take home. Add luxury, on-site makeup for $80!
Engagement Sessions $375
This is a custom package, tailored to your pre-wedding needs. We create everything to send to your favorite consumer print lab. Includes about 15-20 high-resolution digital photos & 4x6 prints.
Fine Art Press Papers are available & all the work is done for you. You just sit back and wait for a stunning finished product to tell the world you are getting married! Additional fees apply.
Unlimited Senior Portrait Experience! $275
Unlimited what!? Unlimited session time! You control the pace and amount of time you wish to invest in your senior experience. Unlimited outfits! Change as many times as you would like & access to studio wardrobe. Locations are limited only to our time constraints. Split your session into two sessions for just $125 more.

Family Sessions $275
We often have two photographers to catch posed and candid moments. We would like to get to know your family a bit to provide a fantastic portrait experience!

Events
Excludes weddings. Includes a wonderful visual story of your event. From religious ceremonies to concerts to birthday parties and more, this package includes all digital photos from your event! Ask to see our event images, which are not online.
Events are priced by the hour and sometimes cost less than this pricing, just ask! Event pricing as follows:
$350 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour in 30 minute increments. Discounted day rates are available.
All events come with a beautiful USB or CD presentation case, customized for your event!
Senior Portrait Essentials $75 & $175
For the senior who would rather not, this is a parent-pleaser! It's also a great low-cost alternative to an Unlimited! senior portrait experience.
$75 includes a 15 minute mini-session, one print and digital and yearbook submission.
$175 includes a 60 minute session and an online gallery to purchase prints and yearbook submission.
Tweens $175
To capture the precious last moments before the teen years. A portrait experience for Tweens! A low-key version of out senior sessions, with some wardrobe options and accessories available.
