Great cars and easy process. This is not Budget - expect to spend upwards of $300 a day and to be driving a car worthy of that all the way up to a $2700/day Lamborghini or Ferrari. If you came to drive something hot and can afford to though, the process there is simple, the people are great, the cars are tip top and meticulously maintained and if you decide you want to keep the car longer like I did, just call em. Long story short: this was the easiest, most straightforward car rental experience we’ve ever had & we won’t hesitate to book again when we’re in the area! After we booked the flight to LAX for our week vacation, I immediately began looking for a rental car. Anyone reading this review has probably seen a dizzying number of rental car companies in the area. The thing that scared me was that most of them have absolutely horrific reviews. For some companies (not this one!!), people said they waited in line 2+ hours to pick up their car, or a bunch of reviews said they got billed for damage they didn’t do.. EEK. Reading all these awful reviews made me super anxious about which company to choose. I booked Black & White because although they didn’t have a lot of reviews, no one said they were frauded by the company or had anything bad happen.After we booked, we were contacted by Black and White to provide our car insurance information (we declined their insurance) & drivers license so they could verify everything in advance. I took pictures of the documents and emailed them. Giving them our information in advance saved so much time when we arrived to pick up our car.We were given a phone number to call for pickup from LAX when our flight landed. The driver promptly came & got us and drove us maybe 10 minutes to the facility. We were in our rental car & on the road in under 10 minutes! There was no long wait, no getting pressured to pay extra for their insurance or any other sort of upselling. Easiest car pickup ever. Returning the car was just as easy & we were promptly driven back to the airport when we returned the car!One little thing that happened is we accidentally went through a toll without paying (in our neck of the woods in Northern CA, there’s a cash line for people who don’t have a Fast Pass! The toll we skipped out on didn’t have this & we were confused… whoops..). The rental agency was given a ticket for our error… They sent me a letter & told me how to pay the ticket or for a small fee, they could handle it. What I love about this company is that there was no exorbitant fine for getting a ticket with their rental car. There was no fee at all, just us paying the ticket we rightfully owed. My mom told me my uncle got a $500 fine from a rental agency in San Diego from getting a ticket in a rental car.Our whole experience from start to finish (and weeks later when they mailed us a letter about our ticket! Sorry again!!) was AMAZING. We will not hesitate to recommend Black & White to our friends and family and will definitely use them again now that our little town (Redding, California) has direct flights to LA! More...

I have been using Black & White for years. Here’s why they are better than all the others. Straight up service. Amber is outstanding and you never have any surprises. Ever. Dave is great at the office and their staff gets you to and from LAX without hassle. I always get simple cars but if youre keen to drive wacky stuff they have quite a few flagship cars Ive seen. For me theyre always going ti be the best. Hertz et al, they dont care. Ive never had a problem but if I did you know the people to resolve it with. Only drawback is you should allot some time for pickup from LAX if you arrive a rush hour. But thats not their fault (traffic) and it beats navigating a shuttle. This is my second time renting from Black & White Rental, and I legitimately can't imagine renting from anyone else when I visit LA. The service is exemplary from start to finish! Getting picked up at LAX is a breeze (especially when compared to other rental companies), checking out the car is easy, and the return took minutes. Wonderful experience. Picked me up from the airport, quickly had me in a car at 4:30. 1 day rental, but told me I just had to have it back by 6 the next day. I still brought it back by 4:30 as I appreciated their generosity, and and they gave me a ride back to my hotel instead of the airport no problem (it was still inside of 3 miles). The whole staff is extremely nice and the facility looks very professional and inviting. Basically it's the rental car experience we've always dreamed was possible. Ive been renting from Black and White Car rentals for over 5 years. They offer the best selection of luxury cars with great comparable prices. The reason why I continue to rent from Black and White is because I know Ill always get a great looking car. When renting from other companies, they can never guarantee the color or model. Black and White has never given me a car I didn't like. They offer a private car pickup and drop off service from LAX and have two locations: LAX and Beverly Hills with a display of cars to choose from. I couldn't believe this place existed at first, and the price just cannot be beat, a total bargain! The agency will come to pick you up from LAX as soon as you give them a call when you land! They're literally as close to the airport as other rental agencies so it takes no time at all to get to and from the terminal. Doors were opened for me, we were offered bottled water, and the initial walk around was thorough and left me feeling at ease. Drop-off was a breeze and my car was ultra clean and smelled brand new! Best car rental agency Ive ever encountered with a delivery of the best car I have ever rented....the shiny, black Mercedes was better than the Mercedes loaners I get from the Mercedes dealer! This is the best company I have ever dealt with. My daughter needed a car to visit a friend but under the age of 21 so other companies made it so tough for her to rent. E-mailed Black Tie and their Jennifer walked me through the process of getting her a car. It didn’t stop there. I gave the company the wrong dates of her arrival. Jennifer contacted me to make sure everything was fine. She then re-scheduled and got me the same rate that was a special for the week I had originally scheduled for. My daughter’s flight than got changed to after the business hours of Black Tie. I would have had trouble from that point but Jennifer talked to her manager and volunteered to stay until my daughters flight arrived. Didn’t stop there. Rain for a couple days in LA Jennifer knowing my daughter may feel uneasy about driving in LA. Upgraded her to an SUV so she could handle the road better. They picked her up at LAX without a hitch.
