I don’t often write reviews, and I probably should do it more, especially when the work is great. We used BJ Construction several times in the past and I get so happy seeing how consistently good they are.
Every time they turned around the estimate within 24-48 hours. A few days later, a kind and respectful crew was working at our house. We’ve had a few issues arise, mainly because I tend to be very picky at times. Justin was patient with me made sure his team fixed the issues to my liking and that the project was exactly where I wanted it when everything was complete.
On the most recent project, they were very busy and booked out for several weeks, but we needed something done ASAP before relatives came in for a holiday. Justin and BJ Construction were great in working with me to get what I needed done by my deadline. I never hesitate to give BJ Construction’s name as a referral to my friends and family, I know they will be just as happy with the work as we have been. Keep up the great work guys!!

How long have you been in business?
BJ Construction was formed in 2015 but is the child of two other companies that were created in 2011.
What guarantee does your work come with?
We offer a one year guarantee with the option to extend for an additional year for a minimal cost. TwoBJ year guarantees are essentially unheard of in our industry but we believe in our work so much that we are happy to provide it!
What inspired you to start your own business?
A lifelong affinity for design and construction led Justin to an architecture degree from Kent State University. After graduation in 2007 he worked designing custom-built, high-end homes in the suburbs of Chicago. Combining sustainable architecture with evolving energy technology, he went on to develop high-efficiency energy solutions for homes and businesses. Justin’s years of experience in both architecture and sustainability proved to be invaluable as the industry grew increasingly concerned with energy costs and their environmental footprint.
His introduction to the contracting side of the industry came in 2011, when a close friend was diagnosed with cancer. While still practicing architecture, he began a painting company working on nights and weekends to help pay her cancer treatment. His efforts were so successful that in 2013, while continuing as a practicing architect, he incorporated Cure with Paint. The company quickly built a commendable reputation with significant growth from year to year. Cure with Paint is now a division of BJ Construction.
