I can not say enough about Bistro To Go and Niki! We came to Niki and her team less than a month before our wedding in a desperate situation. We had chosen another caterer earlier in our wedding planning experience, but those armaments had fallen apart. We were frantic, stressed, and exhausted from trying to work with our previous vendor. From our first conversation Niki and Bistro To Go was welcoming and professional. She fit us in for tasting just a matter of days after our first conversation. During the tasting the food and staff were amazing! My husband commented how you can always tell the people who really love there jobs because of the joy and caring the bring. This could not be truer of Niki and her team. On the day of our wedding the staff and food were again exceptional! My husband and I along with our guest could not have been happier. Niki and her team took what had been an extremely unpleasant and stressful experience and made it one of our favorite choices for our wedding. Bistro to go was wonderful! First time there, and I would go again. The chicken masala was so good, the rice tender and fluffy, and the sweet potato casserole tasted like sweet potato pie! Came with a corn muffin roll, who could ask for more.... Got a slice of the ho ho cake; worth every calorie... It would make a grown man cry (for more)! Definitely worth the trip. Great people, too! Bistro To Go did a great job on our wedding. The tasting with our parents was a wonderful night and made it difficult to decide because everything was so good. Nikki made sure the menu fit our fall wedding with delicious, seasonal options. Our guests especially enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli and apple cider glazed pork. She also covered all dietary restrictions (kids’ meals, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan). Many of our guests commented on how great the food was. My son got married today and Bistro catered the event. From the first contact months ago to the last goodbye this afternoon, Nikki, Claire, and the entire staff and head chef were absolutely amazing. From our tasting to after our wedding, we had the most amazing experience working with Nikki at Bistro to Go. She was very insightful to helping us create the menu for our wedding day. She was always asking our options and taking our vision and turning it into a really fun, elegant, and delicious menu. Claire from Bistro to Go was so incredibly helpful with all the details from how the table scape would look and how our late night snack would be organized. We did not have a day of coordinator but with Nikki and Claire, we did not need one to feel confident the food during cocktail hour, the table scape, the plated dinner, and even the cookie/dessert table would be anything less then perfect. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful the wait staff was and even more so how delicious the appetizers and dinner were. B2G was the caterer for my son's Pittsburgh wedding. The food was excellent! I heard comments like, "This food is sooo good. " "I've never had food this good at a wedding." The on-site staff members were so kind and generous and helped us until the end of the night. They never complained, even though it was a warm and humid August evening. We hired Bistro to Go for our daughter's 08/24/19 wedding to be held in Cranberry Township, PA. After the wedding we sent the owner Nikki, the following message of thanks:
We wanted to let you know that you and your staff hit the bulls eye on Saturday! The food was outstanding and Wendy (Event Manager) and the entire Bistro staff performed exceptionally well.
Wendy was our go to contact from Saturday morning at our first visit to NOAH's prior to the wedding, to the clean-up and boxing of the leftover cup cakes and cookies at the end of the night.
We ALL very much loved the food from how it was displayed to the great tastes of everything. We received many, many compliments from guests about the appetizers and the buffet food items. This business has 5 stars for a reason. I hired them for my daughter's wedding reception and I'm really glad that I did. Nikki, Brandon, and Claire were amazing from start to finish. They treated us like family in going beyond the scope of what any caterer ever should. I can't say enough about the service and care---AND THE FOOD!!! Forget about it! This is my caterer for LIFE. Whatever your catering needs are, call Bistro first. My standards are very high and I demand excellence in everything I do, and I require the same of anyone else I engage. 5 stars to this catering company. Bistro-to-go is a very personable, welcoming, and helpful company who helped make our wedding this best day ever. My husband and I were in a unique situation because we were living in Washington as we were planning our wedding and Bistro-to-go was very helpful from 3,000 miles away. We were not able to attend the food tasting but my family said they went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and welcomed. They were very communicative via email and willing to help wherever necessary. We had our wedding reception at SanaView Farms in Champion, PA for 200 people. We received so many great and raving reviews from our guests stating that this was the best food they had ever tasted at a wedding. As the bride and groom, we got a personalized appetizer and champagne which was perfect since we didn’t have to wait in line with the other guests and it was one less thing to worry about. The food was absolutely delicious and they were very flexible with our requests since we are pescatarians but many of our guests eat all meats. I HIGHLY recommend. They also cleaned up the tables, packaged the leftover food, washed our dishes, and set-up our traditional Pittsburgh cookie table. The staff was very considerate and fun to be around. More...

We waited a bit too long to book a caterer for my daughter's graduation party and after reading reviews decided to give them a shot.  So glad we did.  Grad party for approximately 75 - 85 people at our house and literally everyone raved about the food. So good!  Nikki was great to deal with and the servers who we booked were very professional and very nice to all of our guests.  Would like to give rating of 4.5 stars.  Only 2 recos for Bistro To Go:1) A call within a couple of days to confirm everything would be great.  The only communication we had once we booked was to get paid.2) They do not provide serving tables, etc. - a recommendation on how many tables, etc. would be needed for planning would be good as well.Will use again and have already recommended to 2 people. Anytime I'm in Pittsburgh this is my go to.. everything is sooooo goooooodd...  from the couscous salad, to the gumbo, bread pudding, cake, all of their protein is fire.  Like . This is a MUST TRY PLACE.

Nikki came highly recommend for our wedding from Noah's Event Venue. From the first interaction, Nikki and her staff at the Bistro To Go made me feel like they had everything under control-and they did. She is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to weddings, so even when it didn't concern food, she was able to answer my questions and give suggestions. I cannot say enough good words about the way Nikki treated me and my now husband during the wedding planning and on the wedding day. Her food is out of this world and their service is so selfless. Not only did they make delicious food, but the display was breath taking. One of the staff members was a nurse and she helped my elderly grandfather with an extra set of hands to make him comfortable during the wedding. I have been to the cafe in Pittsburgh 3 times since meeting Nikki and each time I feel like I am visiting family. I would give more stars if I could! I would highly recommend The Bistro to Go-you will not be disappointed in the taste, quality, service or pricing. Discovering new areas of the city allows you to discover new eateries that you had no clue existed.  This, at least to me, is none truer than on the North Side of the city.  I hardly ventured there in the years prior.  Not because I didn't want to, but because I had no real reason to do so.  I have found myself on the North Side more and more recently.  How else would I have stumbled upon this gem?Believe it or not we were actually on our way to another spot before we even considered this place.  When we arrived there we found that they were not to open for another few hours.  But when you are hungry, your stomach doesn't wait.  So we had started back to the car and I noticed this spot, if it wasn't for me taking a quick peak at the inside, we probably would have never stepped foot inside here.  They captured the whole bistro feel inside here.  I noticed that the seating here really didn't match but it gave it a great feel.  I also noticed that there was an outside area where you can sit in the warmer months.  It's not out front, but it looks like a really cozy area to enjoy a meal.This place is set up kind of like cafeteria style.  You can't really tell what will be on the menu until you step inside.  It's my understanding that the menu rotates often, so you may never have the same meal twice here.  The day that we were here I decided on the Country Chicken with potatoes.  This was delicious and I felt like I was having a gourmet meal in the middle of a posh area.  The chicken was nicely done and moist.  The gravy on it was savory and almost had me licking my plate.  The potatoes were more smashed than mashed and as you can see from the picture some of the skins were still mixed in, one of my favorite things.It may sound like an oxymoron, but this was a quick, fancy meal to be having.  I was definitely surprised by the quality of food and left here with a full belly.  Definitely worth a venture if you want some of the best comfort food the North Side has to offer.
